Bought it because it was longer than my other thermometer. Works great for a turkey fryer

Very long thermometer
The description says it’s a candy thermometer. Unless you are making 5 gallons of candy, this is way too long to use as a candy thermometer. I didn’t notice the length in the description;; was just looking for a candy thermometer.
