Superb hoover, high in suction power so you have to keep it at 50% for most of the time and extremely quiet. The cord is extremely long and beats a Dyson hands down. Light enough to carry when doing stairs. Brush and tube are a bit sturdy and you get a 3-in accessory part which is a bit special but it all works well and is perhaps the best value for money out there.

Easy to work and silent, easy to move and low noise. Suction is fantastic.AEG is quality.

First & foremost you cannot fail to be impressed by the suction - it is epic but that is also it's downfall.The engineering behind the suction is impressive but clearly developed by a group of eggheads that have never used a vacuum cleaner in real life.You are constantly trying to find the right setting and the process of getting it to work without skipping over the surface is painfully slow.Unless you park the head in auto the suction is so great that it moves the dial around to its lowest setting quicker than it's able to work the space.The felt pads on the bottom of the head detached themselves within a few weeks of ownership which meant the sticky supposed to be holding them on picked up almost as much detritus as the unit itself.So much effort has to go into the method of effective cleaning that the extending handle has now failed - but only when it feels like it so you think you are getting somewhere and then pop, the handle takes a dive for the floor trying to take you with it.The follow me wheels are next to useless on every floor except hard flooring (that you don't need a hoover for). They look like a ball fitting but they are actually a tiny normal wheel in a round plastic fitting.If you have hours to spare and a laid back persona that does not get irritated by things not working then this could work for you.For me, bringing the workshop Henry home each time the place needs a hoover is a far less stressful experience.Suction 10 out of 10Usability 3 out of 10Would you buy it again - never

It’s very quite and ok for general day to day use

Very good suction, as good as my old AEG Utratone. It is lighter and possibly feels a bit less substantial. The angle at which the hose is attached and its length makes it difficult to tidy away the cleaner when not in use.
