This battery was not the correct size for my DCR-DVD405 Sony camera. It also will not charge.
I am so disappointed that I have ordered a battery that is not the correct size nor is charging for my DCR-DVD405 Sony camera. It is listed that this battery is for my camera but this is untrue. Please refund my money and send me a shipping label if you want it back. Useless either way!

NOT WHAT IS ADVERTISED
The battery being marketed as universally fitting Sony Hamdycam DOES NOT fit the DVD 610. Item shipped is a different wattage than required in unit. Warning appears on camera that this battery is not compatible. Cannot return battery via normal Amazon procedures - buyer be warned.

Doesn’t fit Sony DCR-DVD108
Checked the description to make sure that it would fit my camera. States that it will fit my exact model. Try to put it in the camera just for it to be the wrong size.
