This is my number one priority: SAFETY!
The GRR-Ripper is such a nice tool and safety device that I recommend anyone using a table saw to have. It's simple to put together, although be careful that you do thread the screwed carefully so that they don't misalign and potentially strip. The grip and pressure of the GRR-Ripper is helpful and stands up to many types of wood as you cut them on a table saw.Pros: Simple to put together, great accessories, easy to modify for a variety of cuts, provides the ultimate in safety. I actually use this in combination with a push stick sometimes to get better guidance and more safety.Cons: my only complaint was that the first one I got had a bad screw as I was putting this together and there wasn't an extra one to build it, causing the threading in the nut to strip. Quickly replaced it however.Added Bonus: Get the movable handle accessory. You can then skew the handle to get some added diagonal/side pressure enabling further control and additional safety.Otherwise, I highly recommend this safety device and general guide for use. I'd rather have this thing get cut to pieces than my fingers.

Makes using a table saw much safer and a real pleasure
I wish I’d bought one of these a long time ago. Table saws should be treated with respect and this device whilst quite expensive is much cheaper than having fingers reattached! I’ve used large table saws for years and recently installed a DeWalt saw in my workshop and their jig makes using it feel al lot safer and allows accurate and repeatable cuts to be made. I’m not thinking a second one may be handy for feeding longer lengths of wood through the saw without pausing. See YouTube videos for excellent reviews of this product. Happy to recommend and word buy again but hopefully won’t need to. Some reviewers report it difficult to set up but I didn’t find that personally especially if you bother to read the instructions or watch videos etc.

Incredible safety and does things no push stick or feather board could do.
I think this item is extremely well made and makes my table saw projects safer and allows me to do things I could not do with mypush sticks and feather board. The Advanced model is the only one I would buy and I also got the optional handle and push tab kit.The push tab I may never use because the way the green material grips and pushes the stock through the saw is amazing. This device is really made for small accurate cuts that put your hands too close to the blade and a regular push stick Is too dangerous,I know Journeymen carpenters, with far more table saw experience than I have, that have cut fingers off . Anyone that cuts small pieces with his fingers close to a table saw blade is gambling. If you think it can't happen to you , you are wrong! I am doing a projectputting in soft close drawer slides on old cupboards and I need to cut spacers of various thicknesses and I am using vinyl boards. I need the spacers 2" wide so I can rip a 3/4 " wide board down to as small as 1/4 " inch. The spacers are clean and accurate and my hands are completely safe. Once you become familiar with this wonderful tool, it is quick and easy to adjust it to the size you need, if you screw up, you cut the jig and not your hand. I am lucky, I am 68 years old, have been using tablesaws the wrong way for 50 years and only broke one finger in a kickback about 12 years ago. The Gripper would have prevented that painful experience.I wish I would have bought one of these years ago, fingers are worth a lot more than a hundred bucks.
