It works much better than I imagined, easy to use, and looks perfect however I thought it would come with a larger container than the 500ml or 700ml bse I was looking for something that can blend a large quantity. This though works excellent

Nachdem ich mit meinem letzten Blender jüngst die grauenhafte Erfahrung von Schmieröl im Smoothie machen durfte (siehe meine kürzliche Rezension dazu), habe ich mir - nicht zuletzt aufgrund der Rezensionen hier - dieses praktische Produkt für nicht einmal die Hälfte des Preises angeschafft. Und bin BEGEISTERT. Das Gerät schafft es, mit seinen nur 300 Watt in weniger als 1 Minute einen wirklich cremigen Smoothie herzustellen (in meinem Falle gerade mal angetauter TK-Spinat, 1 Handvoll gefrorene Waldbeeren, 1 Banane, eine Handvoll Brennnesseln, Petersilie und ein bisschen Wasser). Alles - auch das Blattwerk! - wurde perfekt zerkleinert obgleich die Beigabe von Flüssigkeit (Wasser) auch noch weitaus geringer ausfiel als beim 800 Watt Kaputtnik-Blender nötig war. Die Größe des Motorblockes erlaubt es mir, den Mixer auf der Arbeitsfläche stehen zu lassen - erfreulich, da er bei mir zum täglichen Einsatz kommt. Das Gerät ist dabei im Vergleich zum - im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes - ohrenbetäubenden Gekreische des Vorgängers geradezu leise und die Reinigung ist ein Sekundenwitz: Messerdeckel abdrehen, unter heißes Wasser halten - fertig. Die Bechergröße ist für mich vollkommen ausreichend - und möchte man mal mehr, mixt man eben noch den zweiten Becher voll. In meinem Falle ist der zweite Becher für den Kräuter-Hundesmoothie den ich jeden Tag über's Futter gebe und der begeistert aufgenommen wird. Ein tolles Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und ein Produkt, das ich - bis jetzt - der Langzeittest steht noch aus und wird gegebenenfalls hier upgedated - wirklich gerne weiter empfehle. Update - Oktober 2014 - das Gerät funktioniert nach wie vor einwandfrei im täglichen, teils mehrfachen Einsatz. Ich habe unterdessen noch ein weiteres Exemplar für unsere Gäste im Ferienhaus hier in Griechenland gekauft - die genau so begeistert sind.

I've had quite a few blenders and smoothie makers over the years, but once I tried this one, I was hooked! 1. Compact design that doesn't take up too much room on worktop. 2. Makes great smoothies. 3. Soooo easy to clean, and in you know it's clean as there aren't any bits you can't get into, unlike some smoothie machines. 4. Handy lids for if you want to transport your drink, and they don't leak!! Not really anything more you could ask for from a smoothie maker. My one has been going strong for the last 4 years, and I bought one for each of my sons to take with them when they went to university. Interestingly, of all the smoothies we've done over the years, hubby and sons all have the same favourite one, and it's probably about the simplest one to do too, although it does need a little bit of forward planning: Whenever you have an over-ripe banana, slice it up and freeze it (with slices in a single layer) in a food bag. (Having the slices in a single layer makes it easier for the blade and motor to deal with). Or, like us, buy a big bunch of bananas, let them go very ripe then slice, put in single layers in food bags and freeze! Put milk (we use skimmed and it's fine) and frozen banana into smoothie maker. Blend. It's as simple as that. If you blend it a little longer than you think you need to, it will thicken up slightly, which seems to add to the texture. One of my sons has likened it to a McD's milkshake!! This smoothie doesn't seem to need any ice added, presumably because the banana is frozen. (It's nowhere near as good if the banana isn't frozen!) This smoothie doesn't keep well, so it's better for immediate consumption rather than to make ahead. Anyway, back to the smoothie maker: Buy it, it's great!

Puedo traer las tazas al gym, o trabajar sin ningún problema, porque la tapa es muy apretada y el líquido no escapará hacia fuera. Atención: usted no puede utilizar el líquido caliente en su smoothie. Esta máquina no puede manejar el líquido caliente. Este es el único punto negativo.

Mixer an sich mixt ganz ok....für meine Protein Shakes ausreichend. Bei viel Frucht etc wird es schon schwieriger. Die Lautstärke ist auf jeden Fall ein klares Minus. Extrem laut Und der Mixer hat einen englischen Stecker...Hat zwar einen Adapter für Deutschland....Dies sieht aber eher so lala aus wenn der Stecker sichtbar in der Küche steckt. Aus dem Becher trinken ohne Deckel ist schwierig da das Gewinde aussen angebracht ist und man ab und an ein bisschen sabbert wenn man nicht aufpasst. Becher wirken sehr billig da sie aus Kunststoff sind. Verarbeitung generell wirkt nicht so hochwertig. Daher eher durchwachsene Bewertung. Ganz ok aber für Kennwood schon kein Vorzeigeprodukt
