Excellent. Cheaper rollers don't measure up.
Yes you can get cheaper rollers. But a physio friend lent me one of these Blackrolls a few years ago to help plantar fasciitis, and it was cured in about 4 months. I then gave that back and bought a cheaper roller, just to keep my plantar tendons exercised. It was fine, not quite as good, so I bought my own Blackrolls. There is honestly a difference, Blackrolls seem to get right into those spots to bring that feeling of extreme relief that cheaper rollers don't quite hit. I travel weekly with long days on my feet and often need some relief for tight plantars, this is always in my suitcase for those moments and it takes up no room.

Mini Black Roller - small but effective
I was recommended this product by a friend whose physio recommended for plantar fasciitis and achilles pain. I have long term issues so have started a regime of 1min rolling on affected areas daily. The roller is sturdy and effective and affordably priced for those who want to try it for working on deep muscle pain (obviously consult your GP first if you need to). The roller is best used slowly and only use for 30secs/a min on one area within a 24hr period first to see how you respond. Used carefully and in a graded way as part of a rehab program, this is a great product. There is a manual that can also be bought but unfortunately only available in German..
