No, dear, the blue light is always on. its an indicator for the water level, therefore it is necessary to make the light working all the time. If it turns red, water has to be added. maybe you can try to tape over it and have the part with the light face the wall if you don't want to see the light.

Q: Does the pump shut off automatically when water level is low?

No, dear, but you will see red light when water is low, it is blue when there is enough water. Thank you.

Q: how do you clean the pump , it is not pumping out water like it use to and only been using it less than a month?

Hi, Vixter, Maybe hair and small particles got into the pump and caused the problem. Please follow below steps to do pump cleaning. Step 1: Remove the pump cover(the side with Ring windows) Step 2: Remove the Impeller cap by placing your fingernail underneath the small lip located. Step 3: Remove the Impeller Clean every parts with small brush or cotton buds. To extend the life of the pet fountain, we suggest you to clean it every 2 weeks. Relatively silent easy to find/replace filters

My cats enjoy this product very much. Now they drink more water bad part : I have to clean their litter more . I really like the lights on it but some people can find it anoying in dark so be carefull when buying this. Since the filters are standart circle filter Its easy and cheap to find replacements. Overall I am very happy with this product

Great product. My cats liked it and encouraged them to drink more water. Probably works better than the branded water fountain I bought last year. I like that it comes with a free brush and adapter.
