A must-have for for the ultimate gaming experience.
The **PlayStation 5** is a powerhouse of a console that truly delivers a next-gen gaming experience. After spending some time with it, I can confidently say itโs a huge leap forward for gaming. **What I like:** **Stunning graphics**: The PS5โs **ray tracing** and **4K resolution** create incredibly realistic visuals, making games look breathtakingly detailed. **Ultra-fast load times**: Thanks to the **custom SSD**, load times are almost non-existent, allowing you to jump into games much quicker. **DualSense controller**: The new controller is a standout feature. The **haptic feedback** and **adaptive triggers** make gameplay more immersive than ever before. **Backwards compatibility**: It supports a large library of PS4 games, so you can enjoy your old favorites with improved performance. **What could be better?** **Size**: The PS5 is a big console, and it can be tricky to find space for it in a smaller entertainment setup. **Limited storage**: The internal storage fills up quickly, especially with large game files, so expanding the storage or managing downloads becomes necessary. Overall, the PlayStation 5 is a game-changer. From stunning graphics to innovative controller features, itโs a must-have for any serious gamer looking for the ultimate gaming experience.

Best gaming station for the cheapest price on the market.... Yes Japanese Version, Doesn't matter.
I am from India, visiting Dubai and was just checking electronics prices in Dubai. And just like that after calculating the price of PS5 .... There was 40% difference in the price. It was much cheaper in Dubai.... Except the hassle of carrying it to India. I immediately ordered it on Amazon .... It was delivered to my hotel address the very same day. I had unboxed it and I found it be a Japanese version. But it really doesn't matter. The PS5 works anywhere in the world with all the voltages and with any disc games. So I'm really happy with my purchase... It was a latest CFI-1200A model manufactured in Jan 2023( most of the hardware issues are fixed compared to older models). India Sony might not consider Warranty because it was not purchased locally. Other than that perfect buy .... Fantastic beast ....

Japanese version that works absolutely fine in the UAE
The console comes with a Japanese socket, but it works 100% fine in any basic converter. No worries whatsoever about voltage and once the plug is tucked away behind the TV, you wouldn't have any idea. Have used this solidly for around six months now and it's perfect. Buy with confidence.

International version works fine in the UAE (Model: CFI-1200A)
Itโs a little two pin plug similar to US. Just use a standard adapter and youโre good to go! No need to convert voltage. 4 stars because the box was in bad condition. Itโs been opened. Works fine and is brand new. Iโm happy with it. Starts up in Japanese but you can change to any language during setup.

The PS5 (BEST console EVER?)
The PlayStation 5 is absolutely SUPERB in ALL aspects of gaming. it is a Worthy successor to the phenomenal PS4/PS4 pro console in EVERY single way! the first thing you will notice right off the bat is how FAST the console is, from the user interface to playing games waiting is a thing of the past! the PS5 is the fastest games console I've EVER experienced, it even outperforms my buddies PC setup with his SSD which REALLY took me by surprise! The biggest downfall to the PS5 is the storage situation, with 825GB SSD (only 667GB is usable) Modern Warfare & Warzone alone account for almost 200GB. As of April 2021 you can now store & play ALL PS4 games from an external drive which is awesome! you can now store PS5 games on the external drive as well but you can NOT play PS5 games that are stored in the external drive you would have to transfer it back to the PS5 SSD in order to play PS5 games. Speaking of games, the PS5 doesn't disappoint when it comes to games! let me start by saying every PS4 games I've played loads faster & performs BETTER than the PS4 pro did. When it comes to PS5 games they're simply amazing! The Dual Sense controller is the MOST innovative feature rich controller I've EVER used! the haptics are brilliantly implemented & the adaptive triggers make games feel like every squeeze of the trigger matters. My PS5 games library consists of Astro's Playroom (the BEST pack in game since Wii sports) Black ops cold war, Mile Morales, Fortnite, Rogue Company & Genshin impact. Astro's Playroom is a fantastic platform that acts as a showcase for the new Dual Sense controller providing a fun game that shows exactly how amazing the controller truly is! Black ops cold war is decent, the load times are great but it's not next level when it comes to gameplay. Miles Morales on the other hand is next level, it's absolutely gorgeous running at 4K 60fps! it offers superb gameplay that's breathtaking showing a glimpse of what's possible on PS5! Fortnite is another game that's REALLY blown me away with it's PS5 upgrade! the game not ONLY loads so much faster compared to PS4 pro but it looks phenomenal in 4K at 60fps plus it's got improved textures & lighting & it's insane how much BETTER it is compared to the PS4 pro version! Rogue Company recently released their PS5 upgrade & it runs at a native 4K 60fps making for another beautiful free to play shooter on the PS5. Genshin impact is another amazing game that has gotten even BETTER with it's PS5 upgrade. load times are almost non existent & it's stunningly gorgeous! Final thoughts after 1 month: The PS5 has dethroned my PS4 pro as the BEST games console of ALL time imo! it plays my massive PS4 library with upgraded performance. It offers truly superb next level speed with it's SSD & the upgraded CPU / GPU along with 16GB of GDDR6 RAM make for an extremely powerful games console capable of games that we can't even fathom at the moment! I can't wait to see what the future holds for the PS5! I definitely recommend this console for anyone wanting the best playstation console ever made. So far So good
Received my console yesterday from Amazon pre-order, which despite getting e-mails after the purchase stating it may not arrive release date, to my surprised did. I realize that won't be the case for everyone, but it was a pleasant surprise. The console itself is a giant amongst consoles, as seen in any video about the console. The disc drive, confusingly to me, is on the bottom part of the console under the lip. Initially I set it up upside down and got an error when I put the disc in upside down. So far mine hasn't put off too many loud noises. At one point the disc drive sounded a little loud, but was not too bad. Initially after the setup, going through the menus right after, there did seem to be some kind of lag from something installing in the background that gave me the impression that it was locked up. I did end up rebooting it and the sluggishness continued, but when I came back later, about 10 minutes it was acting normal. The controller is awesome. I do miss the size and feel of the PS4 controller but some of the things that developers will be able to implement should be exciting, should they choose to take full advantage of the technology. The best way to get an idea of its capabilities is Astros Playroom which comes preloaded. It gives you an idea of the possibilities for the tech. I had read up on the Dualsense and was not too surprised by that, but what did surprise me was the haptic triggers. The pressure needed to press the triggers can change depending on the game setting. During the demo it almost felt as if something was keeping it from being pressed and then after went back to normal. This was crazy to me as it was my first experience with these kind of triggers. The controller also comes USB-C which is refreshing as well as the standard built in battery. The installation is just like the previous generations. Two prong power cable and HDMI. I've read that if you have a new (2019-2020) TV with HDMI 2.1 to make sure and use the cable supplied or a 2.1 HDMI cable. Some reports are coming in of black screens when powering up the console. I don't have a newer TV like this so my old cable worked just fine with no issues. Again, it seems to only be if your TV supports HDMI 2.1. I bought my console with Demon Souls and Assassins Creed Valhalla. Demon Souls is a very good looking game and Valhalla looks about like the current gen games. Judging on these games alone, it doesn't feel completely next gen, but that's to be expected during the early life of the console. For me the controller is what actually feels net generation. These feels just like the PS4 at launch, sort of a mid generation console until developers really start taking advantage of the hardware. Overall for the price and what I received, I give it 5 starts. It helps that the hard drive and disc drive on my launch PS4 are going out right as this is coming out. Also with the backwards compatibility with PS4 games makes it worth it to me.
