My father always asked me "how does Google earn money? I just don't get it". After I finished reading this book, the first thing I did was go up to my father and tell him he absolutely had to read this book. That says a lot about the book - first is that it's extremely informative and explains a lot about technology around us that seems elusive to us, and the second part being that it does so in human language that even a very technologically challenged father can understand. Whether you're an IT professional struggling with concepts (like me) or a 60 year old looking to understand how Google helps you for free, this book is worth every second of your time. Hats off to the writers, great work.

As someone who is currently working in technology, I found this book to be very helpful. The book does an excellent job of going into detail about past, present and future trends in technology. What I found to be most beneficial was the fact that it was simple, and yet used real life examples / experiences, from tech giants such as Google, Uber, and Amazon. I also like how it was broken down into small bite size chapters each with its own flow. This made it easy to comprehend complex ideas, and supported with evidence from a business perspective. As I continued to read the book I found myself learning more and more about the importance of technology and how it will come to shape our present and future.

Swite to Unlock es un buen manual para ponerse al día sobre el mundo tecnológico. Hace un recorrido por las distintas áreas dentro de este sector y arroja luz sobre cómo funciona la maquinaria a nivel macro estratégico, siempre desde un lenguaje sencillo y amigable. Muy recomendado para quién quiera desoxidarse o adentrarse en este terreno, a nivel personal lo que más me ha gustado fueron los escenarios reales con los que contextualizan la información.
