Yeah these are pretty long, I’m a big 6’2” 260lb man and they fit me enough to tuck in.

What does mean the abbreviation of a and l ? and are there any other abbreviations with hanes?

A-shirts is an expression that goes way back: used to mean Athletic shirts, as opposed to T-shirts. This was before anyone called the sleeveless version Tank shirts.

Why would you have a size chart that is waist size only for under shirts???

I don't know the why of it, but I can tell you that it comes out accurate.
