Tried atleast until 4 or 5 torque on bolt when I was stuck in desert. It didnt work. Just kept on spinning

Not good quality and cannot remove nuts very slow rpm.

This has been a really great buy for me. It works really well and is easy to use. I’ve only had one tire I couldn’t get off and it was not the impacts fault. I bent and broke two hand tools trying to get that lugnut off when the impact didn’t work. A couple of things to know. Don’t push the impact hard onto the lugnut. If you are pushing it will not allow the impact to do its work. I’ve learned to place it on the lugnut and press the button. The second thing that was weird is my buttons are backwards. I don’t know if it is just mine or if all of them are like this. But my “L” for Loosen is the button for tightening and my “T” for tightening is the one for loosening. I’ve also have put standard wrench sockets on it for other things and it works great (as long as you don’t lean weight or push on the impact. I love it so much that I might buy a second for the other car.

Purchased this tool last week and just used it yesterday to change 4 tires on my car. Super easy to use, even if your are a beginner like myself in DIY repair jobs. My lug nuts were bolted tight by someone who installed my winter tires on. He failed to use anti seize, thus we couldn't get the lug nuts out manually. Since we wanted to change our tires ourselves this season and to do other work around the wheel body frame of our car, we decided to search Amazon and found this nice little Impact wrench. Wagan, the company, is a US based company and after researching them, we found that they do make high performance automotive tools and are described as a company who take great pride in their work and are quite "honorable" to their commitments. Overall it took us less than an hour to change our tires, but this is with some extra work that we performed around the body frame where the tires sit. Going to the mechanic to change your tires will probably cost you anywhere between $30 - $75 and plus depending on the shop and the installation process. A one time purchase of this impact wrench makes it a worthwhile investment to an automobile owner. It also come in a convenient carrying case which is super light (impact wrench included) to carry and take with you or just keep in the back of your car trunk. The only slight problem with this tool that we discovered is, you have to plug it in your cigarette lighter and have your car engine on at all times for this tool to work. Otherwise, your battery will drain. Also, if you have a battery booster pack with a 12V plug in it, DO NOT use this Impact wrench with it. We did and quickly found out that it drained the booster pretty fast after removing 4 lug nuts. Overall, we give this tool a 5 out of 5. It does the job, its super light weight and super easy to use. Yes, we do recommend this tool for any DIY car owner or general auto mechanic.
