odd question--but would one of the washer fit inside another one? like the empty hole inside a large one fit a smaller washer?

Not an odd question, the answer is YES.

So is this 799 washers and the container to = 800 pcs ?

Package Includes: - 210pcs X M2 - 200pcs X M2.5 - 100pcs X M3 - 100pcs X M4 - 70pcs X M5 - 40pcs X M6 - 50pcs X M8 - 20pcs X M10 - 10pcs X M12 - 1pcs X Transparent Plastic case washers has 800 pcs, including the box it is 801 pcs

can i use them in a car (oil crush washer)?

My gut feeling is no. They might work for that but the copper crush washer compresses creating a spring back effect on the drain plug and the flat rim around the oil drain outlet. You would be better off using nylon drain plug washers you can buy at any auto parts store or most likely here on Amazon.

What's the od of the m2 washers ? thanks !

hey Dave, the O.D. of the M2 (which inhabits the M2 slot marked on the box) is 3/16" or .5 cm. hope this helps. Marc
