Cartoonish short-form version of Marx's Das Capital
This book is REALLY illustrated. It is more a form of cartoon. It states the main principles of Marx's Capital, but in a very short form and without commentary. It is slightly difficult to understand, if you don't have any pre-knowledge of the subject. If you are an Economist, it is probably fun, but if you just want to know the basics of Marx, this is not the best book.

Straight forward explanation of capitalism's dark side.
Which is easier? reSellers markup prices overnight? (On products the Working-Buying class made for them to sell?) Or, the Working-Buying class negotiate a pay raise over months, or years, or never? (But must buy stuff they made for the reSellers at highly inflated prices?) Which is easier? Buy this book and learn how to make sense when you talk.

I've lent this out so many times!
A very charming and accessible primer to Marc's great work and ideas. Great for kids too, the cartoons are legitimately brilliant. Everyone wants to borrow it, so I have 2 copies now!

I'm in the midst of reading Marx's Capital. (All right, I just retired and now I can spend my time however I please.) I have found several companion works which help clarify the concepts of Marx's rather complex opus. This one, though rather simplistic, does a good job of presenting the basic concepts (especially of Volume I). In addition, it is humorous and engaging.
