This solves my main gripe with old small Sony Cameras, the a6400 batteries were crap, but with this? I plug it to a 10000mah battery and it will simply last all day long!!! BUT beware, let the camera recognize it can juice up on the battery, that means to turn on the power bank once you plugged the USB, turn on the camera, it may send you back to day configuration and turn OFF and ON again by itself (especially if the power bank is one of those that turns off when it's not being used) - When that is happening, DO NOT take a picture or record ANYTHING, that will immediately corrupt everything on the memory, it will still be usable but you will need to format it once it happens. Once your learn that gripe, the value of this is unmatched against having to carry many batteries or risk buying 3rd party ones. Its easy to use, it fits the camera perfectly (although I wouldnt trust the weather protection with that little whole you need to open to let the cable pass through the battery/SD slot)

Wanted to power my camera from an external power bank, but when plugged in it would randomly shut down and power back on. I thought maybe my power bank wasn’t putting out consistent power so I plugged it into a variety of wall plugs and I had the same result for all of them.

perfecta Para utilizar en camaras de la serie A6XXX de Sony, es estable y no causa recalentamiento, la he utilizado con un adaptador de baterías NPF a USB 5V y va de maravilla, incluso con un powerbank y va de maravilla, lo recomiendo totalmente, solo asegúrate que tu fuente pueda entregar 5V a mínimo 2A

Combo parfait si vous l'utilisez avec une power bank moderne QC/PD ! Il faudra parfois le débrancher/rebrancher au tout début, comme avec d'autres powerbanks, mais après ça fonctionne parfaitement. ma caméra ZVE10 est restée allumée 4 heures d'affilée, plus aucun problème d'autonomie, c'est hyper pratique.

Ich benutze meine Sony Alpha 5100 neuerdings für Webkonferenzen. Der von Sony letztes Jahr herausgebrachte Windows-10-Treiber macht es möglich. Ich habe mir den Dummy-Akku zugelegt, da das ständige Laden den normalen Akku mit der Zeit kaputt macht. Der Dummy Akku passt genau in die Kamera und das Kabel kann man durch die dafür vorgesehene kleine schwarze Plastiknase nach außen führen. Der Gehäusedeckel lässt sich dann wieder völlig schließen und verriegeln (siehe Foto) - das muss man allerdings sorgfältig machen, da durch das Kabel etwas Gegendruck besteht. Zur Stromversorgung habe ich ein 5 Volt USB-Netzteil mit 2 Ampere gewählt. Die Kamera verhält sich dann ganz normal. Ich habe sie für das Streaming über den Mikro-USB-Anschluss mit meinem Notebook verbunden. Ich nutze dafür einen abgewinkelten Mikro-USB-Stecker, so dass das Kabel nicht aus der Kamera heraussteht, sondern direkt am Gehäuse entlang nach unten geführt werden kann.

L'ho testato con una ripresa lunga, ho messo una ventola raffrescante sulla mirrorless e mi ha retto tranquillamente 2 ore continue in registrazione full HD. L'avevo collegato ad un powerbank. Ottimo, consigliato. Unica pecca il filo non è sostituibile ed è un poco corto (se durante l'effetto molla si stacca si ferma la ripresa. Consigliato

My INIU powerbank starts buzzing when i turn on my Sony RX10 IV with this dummy battery, also camera turns off as soon as powerbank turns off...seems pretty useless.
