Lights do have tendency to burn out. Got these because of price and light is bright when done Good to have.

I didn’t have to modify nothing managed to get them in the right way the first time hvac is so much brighter now it’s awesome

Got them to work with 03 Ram 1500
Fit ok and work for 03 Ram 1500. Advice: they have a flat head screwdriver slot to twist them in. Be sure and use the largest flat blade that fits in the slot. My circuit board they twist in to may have been a little thicker than what they were made for. So with the bigger tip I was able to twist them in without damage the plastic housing of the bulb.Also they are polarity sensitive as mentioned. So if it doesn’t light up, remove and rotate 180 degrees.

Installed. The first time it didn't work because, come to find out, they have polarity. I found that out looking through the comments, attempting to find out why they were not working. These are inexpensive; the brightness is good, and the bluish colour is nice. Take your time installing; you should be okay.
