And truthfully for us parents as well. The kids, aged 4-8, love these books. And at about half the price of the mall book shops, its hard to beat. Yes you can look up all of this info online, but its presented in a very kid friendly and useful way. A very good purchase.

21-month old likes this one. Bought the other Nat Geo for kids before (animals & the ocean animals) but this one is the winner. Toddler barely reads the other 2 books but this one she likes because there are more to see and explore. Maybe have outgrown the animals book already.. i dunno. So, this is a must-buy. Glossy paper, sturdy, big size and heavy but it’s okay she is able to carry it herself. The pictures are realistic and very big which is a major plus

Kids will like the reading experience with lots of visuals. Good for starters

This is great for kids to discover the world around them. Has great content in which you can read to your kid and learn a few things as well yourself. The book has activities that you readily do at home. It creates that experience and quality bonding time with your kids.

Awesome book, with loads of pictures and accompanying explanations. My three year olddoesnt understand much but she is starting to understand why her skin wrinkles when she is in water for long or why her hair is curly and stuff. Update: She is 6 and half now and still remains one of her favourite books.
