Decent Fit, Great Price
You can find these rubberized temporary side shields all over the internet. These work fine - I bought for my entire electronics and mechanical assembly area in a manufacturing plant. They are a "medium" size so they fit correctly on most glasses. They are a soft, pliable rubber (like the sides of full eye goggles) - so easy to squish as needed to fit over temple pieces. They are not a perfect fit on all glasses - none of these flexible shields are. But with the pliable rubber, you can manipulate them on your glasses to get appropriate fit.

Flexible shields
Anyone having to wear glasses knows the agony of them swishing down your nose, and putting pressure on your nostrils, restricting your breathing through your nose....now, add weight to them by placing side shields on them to convert them to safety glasses, and you're in trouble after about 5 hours of use. I bought these to switch my much lighter (weight wise) reading glasses into safety glasses, bc my job requires me to wear safety glasses all day. One thing the reviews of these does not reflect, is, that these side shields are flexible, and fit over just about any type of glasses. I am so happy I bought these bc now I can actually breathe without having to adjust my glasses all day. 5 stars from me and I'd recommend these to anyone having to wear safety glasses.

Good product for the price and quick delivery.
Fit the bill for those jobs where they require the side shields per OSHA. Be advised though that the shields meet requirements, but I was told by a gal at the eye glass store that even if your prescription glasses may be the plastic lenses, they are not usually the ones that meet OSHA codes, and if something were to happen and you needed to use workman's comp, that without approved prescription safety glasses, you will most likely have your workman's comp denied. These slip on very easily on my wire freamed glasses and just put them in a ziplock sandwich bag for storage when not using. Maybe also keep them out of direct sunshine, not sure how the rubber material may react to long exposure.

Perfect!
I was a bit worried like anybody would if the product isn't in front of you so you can test it out. But after reading everyone's comments and the product review these would work perfectly for me. You can use the picture they give you and compare it to your own glasses. Though like another consumer warned if your sides are think it wont work cause thats how they slip on. I have slightly rectangular 1 inch glasses sort of like they demo glasses in the picture but a bit rectangular but they fit cause of the holes on the side where you would weave it on the stick. This product was design to fit all so i would say its perfect for that. The only way this product could get any better is if they made a lighter version. I have think glasses so every little weight counts to me even if I don't feel the weight I just wonder if someday I will regret it

Great for Dry Eyes but Sticky and Not Clear
I'm delighted that these side shields do exactly what I need them to do. I have very dry eyes (Computer Vision Syndrome exacerbated by Sjogren's,) and this spring found myself unable to tolerate my ceiling fans. In my climate I have for years operated ceiling fans continuously outside of heating season. These side shields cut the breeze well enough that I am now able to enjoy my ceiling fans without the discomfort and pain of dry eyes. I deducted one star because they are not clear. They are instead entirely frosted with small white dots. I deducted a second star because they arrived coated with sticky resin that transferred to my fingers and wouldn't wash off with soap and water. After washing the sideshields, I let them air for several weeks in the hope that the resin would evaporate or harden and it did. I believe the evaporated resin is what caused the white dots to form, because I think they were fairly clear when they first arrived.

Works perfectly on all my glasses
I'm an NYC ER RN. ER saying,"Safety glasses are cheaper than eye transplants." I'm fussy about eye safety. These inexpensive items turn my safety glasses to safety glasses with effective eye shields. Are side shields important? In a word, "Yes". Side "blunt/sharp/agent" trauma to the eye is less common than forward trauma but it happens all the time. These fit all my glasses - large lens safety glasses, medium lens every day glasses - and go on/off easily and quickly. They are pliant and conforms easily to arm and lens shape and trims easily if necessary. And they are modest in price.

A+ recommend for glasses wearers! fantastic product.
these are a great addition to glasses with protective lenses. these protect the sides of the eye, where regular glasses do not. this is my second order and we have used these H.L. Bouton slide-on sidesheilds from the seller VisionAid since november 2016. the person who wears them works in a blacksmith shop and their main function is to run the grinder wheel most of the day sharpening tools. he wears a face shield, but we had 2 scares where he got metal in his eye. then we found THESE. no issues since. he takes them off and puts them on every day, and we ordered 3 pair last time. he just wore through his last pair and we had to order more. theoretically, if you left them on your work glasses, they could stay fine forever. but he removes his daily. eventually the little holder piece wears out. its also important to note that he is not gentle on ANYTHING. so that also is a factor. TL:DR great product. 2nd order. after 3rd pair of original order from 11/2016 wore out.

strongly recommend polycarbonate instead
These are soft, deformable plastic side-shields that are about 2 mm thick. The maximum lens height that can be accommodated is 35 mm. The ones I received are stamped "Vision Aid USA" and "Z87" and may not be identical to slip-on side shields that are HL Bouton branded. My big complaint is the terrible optical properties of the plastic. It distorts everything, so that your peripheral vision is filled with light and color, which is distracting, but you can't actually see anything in your peripheral vision. If you have ever used "drinking goggles" that simulate the experience of being drunk - the experience is somewhat like those. My secondary concern is with the deformability of the plastic. The plastic may be thick enough to absorb an impact from a small particle, but because it is so soft, the side shield does not grip the frame firmly. Any impact may simply push the side shield out of the way, rather than deflecting the incoming particle. I strongly recommend stiff polycarbonate side shields instead, which have excellent optical properties and can be tightly attached to the frame. I ordered some from "safetyglassesusa.com" because I did not find any on Amazon.
