Is this pharmacologically pure dhea?

Our product is not synthetic like most pharmacological products, the source is wild yam which DHEA is extracted during processing and final product tested for purity.

Help me out here...serving size is one bisected tablet.(i'm assuming 1/2 half)...amount per serving is 5mg....so is one (1) whole tablet 10mg?

No, serving size of 5 mg is 1 tablet (each has a slight line thru the middle which may be a guide if you want to take only 2.5mg.) but there are definitely 100 tablets in bottle and "servings per container" are 100.

Is there a difference between the original formula and the micronized formula?

The DHEA in the Douglas Laboratories - DHEA 5 mg is micronized in particle size, which increases absorption.

What is mannitol? It is listed as one of the ingredients.

I saw nothing on my bottle that said mannitol. The other ingredient on mine says cellulose (gelcap). It is a fiber substance found in plant walls. Has many uses, one is making gelcaps. Mannitol is a prescription diuretic. Would not be in a supplement like this one. There is a sugar called mannose, but it is not listed on my bottle. My dhea is the 10mg.
