Martial Art's I really like how they connect on the long side Making 2 mats 10X10. Ok for takedowns but not Judo type throws on beginners. If your looking for a softer landing move to the 2" I couldn't find 5x10 in 2"

Easy to fold up, good quality, use it to train bjj drills at home. Works great. Like the extra foot wide at 5' vs all the 4' mats out there in the market.

The mats are well made and provide sufficient padding for the training that we do. We have several large people on the mats at one time and they hold up extremely well.

We use these for stretching on. They’ve been great so far and we’ve had them for a couple months.

These mats are easily transportable and work well.

They look really nice. They are too hard. We bought four for our karate school. Our old folding mats were forty years old. We couldn’t find black mats other than these in the size we want or we’d return them. Can’t imagine why you’d make a hard tumbling mat.

I just bought this item yesterday and it came in today without paying extra for shipping (YAY for AmazonPrime). I was on the hunt for a tumbling mat for my dancer sister but was so confused with the different sizes and prices. I obviously wanted something affordable as I am a student so I was initially looking into the 1.5 inch mats by this company. I then saw a similar mat at the studio and realized that 2 inch is the one I needed as it's more protection. So I started my hunt again and focused primarily on 2 inch depth. Then all the different sizes started to overwhelm me because I'm new to tumbling and didn't know what size to get. I decided on a 4 by 8 mat because I figured that was affordable (I was getting one for $114) and it's a good size for her. I did some more research and found that ones used in studios are 10 feet so I began my hunt again just to see if I could find one within my price range (200 and below). I kept searching and was surprised with how expensive these things are, prices were starting at 200+. Then magically I saw this 5 by 10 mat, 2 inch depth, in rainbow colour for ONLY $128, plus the bonus was it's fulfilled by Amazon so I could get it within a day. I quickly put it in my cart and bought it! Thank-God I bought it because today I checked and it's now at $220. I also received it today and I must say, the best purchase I have made. It's HUGE and I mean HUGE. It's perfect for her because she's a dancer and can do multiple flips in one session. I read reviews prior and there were some mixed reviews. Some said it's wonderful and some say they hated it. The concerns were for the stiffness and smell. I honestly cannot smell a bad odour coming from the mat once I opened it but I mean even if there was a smell, it would have gone away eventually. As for stiffness, my mat is stiff but not ridiculously bad where my sister is in pain. I would have had an issue if it wasn't stiff because that beats the purpose. I highly recommend this mat and this brand to anyone thinking about purchasing a mat. Of course I am glad I got this huge mat at a deal, however, I would have purchased it even at 223. I didn't care so much for the colour, in fact my sister loves the rainbow over the other colours they had. The quality is perfect and it gets delivered right to your door YAY. It's definitely an investment but totally worth it! I'll update this soon when I take some pictures.

A great mat. Its firm for striking and great for takedowns. I got one as a test mat for my dojo, I bought one before the holidays at $265. I need 5 more but at $337 i may search for other options.

Fantastic mat! Equal in quality to the ones used in my daughter's school gym. Mine measures 5' wide by 10' long - bigger than most on the market. It folds into five 2' x 5' sections. Also has Velcro on all sides so, if you have a big enough space, you could go crazy and join a bunch of them together.

Great quality product - perfect amount of firmness for gymnastics floor exercises. No strong odour as others have stated, just a faint one as you would expect from any vinyl product. After 1 week, no smell at all. I shopped around, and this mat is at a great price.

Good price. High quality mat made very well. However it does feel a bit stiff and hard compared to my tumbletrak branded 5x10 mat. I wish it were a lot more soft ... Kind of defeats the purpose of a mat if it's so super stiff.
