Windmill 1500W 24V 60A Wind Turbine Generator kit. Automatic and Manual Braking System DIY Installation, MPPT Controller with Bluetooth Function.

I have been using this unit for a couple of years (2017) now. This is my experience with this unit. This 24v wind generator works great with a 12v system. The problem if you use it with a 24v system is that your charging voltage must be over the voltage your batteries are at. The charge controller that came with the system locks the generator down if the voltage goes over 28v. My float voltage (max voltage) of my batteries is 27.6v, so by the time the generator gets up to the proper voltage over 24v it stops because of the controller. I got around this by using a different controller and using an AC/DC rectifier. The max voltage this generator put out was 36v(it was really, really windy that day) with the average at around 14v. My recommendation is that you over volt you generator (so the average voltage will charge your system) and use a controller that can handle the max voltage of the generator.

I still have not heard back from the seller on this refund. If you go back and look I have had many communications with the seller and Amazon about this. A short recap is that I bought a wind turbine ($1,400) through Amazon that was advertised with 3 spare blades and i sent screenshots of the advertisement. I had to schedule a crane truck in advance to do the install @ $800 and in my very remote area with very limited access for vehicles this was not easy to do. So when the item arrived I had to do the install or lose that money. The item did not have everything that it was advertised to have but I felt sure since this was done through Amazon it would be corrected. After many emails I was told I would have to return it for a refund even though I told them it was installed ( Wind Turbine ). It took me a long time to get the crane back up there due to there being only one guy in this area with a unit that can make it up there to my cabin. $800 later i got it taken down and now I need to send it in for the refund and need prepaid shipping for return and address. Unbeatablesale sent an email back saying that they had forwarded the request to the right dept. but I have heard nothing. I have spent a great deal of time and money on this and I am requesting a full refund please.

The media could not be loaded. Set the generator up on Saturday. Never saw it go over 200 watts, and we do get wind out here. Today, Tuesday, we had a front move through with a strong wind. I noticed the controller was automatically applying the brakes. Then I heard a loud bang. Looks like the whole assembly came off the post and took out 2 of the blades.Debating whether to get replacement blades or send the item back

UPDATEI have had this windmill now for 6 years and still going. I have it attached to my solar and it is working perfectly. 6 years and still same blades. Will probably need to renew soon.I see all them bad reviews but maybe I got lucky ?? Or maybe some of them not installed right ??A must have when living off grid, this will keep my whole household going.even my windmill installer who has done it for many many years was very impressed with this windmill as am I

Absolutely not worth the money! Went through two sets of blades and now I broken pivot bearing and it hasn't even been a full two years of use…. Extremely poor design however electronics seemed to be good that’s all I have to say for it.

Product arrived, installed professionally, and unit was defective, Other than request a refund, they seller claimed they would cover defective parts with warrantee. This is a lie. They have given me the runaround for one month. This should be enough time to handle the problem. Beware of this company
