It's like putting your head in a vice!
Adjustable? Yes.Fits? NO!We have tried this on 6 different people and it fit nobody! Only the center band provides pressure leaving huge gaps on the top and bottom support.I have a circumference of 19", hubby 25" and everyone else we tried it on was in between. The pics are on a me and a 20" circumference styrofoam head, but the same size gaps happened to us all. The only part that changed was much we cranked the size down to make the center band snug and the Velcro strap on top.

Kind of an improvement
I like the way the strap functions. That twist knob to tighten/loosen it is awesome. It feels more stable no my head allowing me to feel more confident in making large and rapid motions without the thing falling off.Unfortunately, I feel like the back portion of the strap is just too long. The hard plastic bits interfere with my ears. I either have to stuff my ears under them, which isn't terribly comfortable, or have them pushing on my ears whole time. The corner of the plastic can then dig into the back of my ear, and that really isn't comfortable. The rest of it feels good. I just wish the back of the head portion didn't extend so far along the side fo my head. If it was just a circular shape, it would probably be better. If it just continued straight up from where that bottom curve meets the strap, it would be great.I don't have a very big head, so it will probably work better for people with bigger heads. I measured the circumference of my head ~57cm or 22.5". So it'll probably work great if your head is a little bigger than that.

Doesn't fit....get what you pay for
I'm always wary about 3rd party accessories.....this is why. Either manufacturer defect or just the way it was made, it doesn't fit over the side to replace the OEM strap....

A great alternative to the elite strap
I was a bit skeptical when I ordered this, but with the elite strap unavailable for a month or more, I figured I would give it a shot. My only complaint is that the instructions are a bit confusing. When you take off the original oculus strap, you attach the small pieces to the new head piece (not to the oculus). Also, you will need to rotate the knob on the back of the new head strap to make the straps extend before connecting those pieces. The last step is connecting the assembled head strap to the Oculus.Once I figured all that out, this thing is super comfortable and holds the Oculus in that sweet spot the original strap could never maintain. If you don’t really care about the built in battery in the elite strap, this is a far better price. When fully assembled, it will fit in the hard shell Amazon basic case for the PSVR, so I don’t even need a new case. It will not, however, fit in the official oculus quest 2 case. If you are skeptical like I was, I recommend giving it a try. I’m a big guy, and it still fit comfortably.

Overall + video
The media could not be loaded. Over it’s a good replacement for the strap that comes with the Quest 2 and installation was decently easy, but the side straps that go above the ears are just thick enough that putting the headset on properly allows them to cut into your ears worse than the basic strap and as you can see in my video (unlike the sellers) they did a very good job of hiding that the strap is actually to small for the quest 2 and doesn’t fully connect leaving you wondering when it’s going to disconnect and drop to it’s death. But it is very comfortable compared to the original and does a good job of transferring a little bit of weight off your face. But for $10 less than the official oculus elite strap? you better just buy the official version.

Spend the extra $10 for the real strap
My oculus was skipping during boxing and making everything blurry on the screen. I was so excited to get this, hoping that it would help keep my headset in the right position. It took me ten minutes to find the instructions online on how to remove the original straps. Then I struggled to put on the Elygo clips. It didn't feel like they were pliable enough to snap on. I finally got the first side competely together and realized I had it upside down. Then I started feeling the cheap padding in the back. The video I was watching that walked me they it also gave a review and advised to get the actual oculus model instead. I looked and it was only $10 more. I took everything apart and requested my return. Sometimes the cheaper way isn't the best.

Strap goes on top of your ears.
If you wear it properly, it goes over your ears or smashes them down, like a whole inch. Did no one at the factory actually put it on? Also it doesn't stretch at all so you can't actually take it off or even adjust it on your face without having to undo and loosen it. The strap on top broke after using it for a day, but the strap was useless in the first place and didn't actually help.

Returned an Elite Battery Strap for this!
I had an Elite Battery Strap at launch and while it fit good, it would make creaking noises when I exercised. It drove me nuts. I was just going to return it and live with the original strap but then I found this one. There are a lot of similar straps like this one because the come from the same manufacture but this seller had the lowest price at the time. It is a little more awkward to put on than the elite strap but works just as well or better. I don’t miss the battery because Quest 2 last long enough (especially compared to Quest 1). This one cradles the back of your skull which helps offset the weight of the headset. The weakest aspect is the foam cushion. While it is removable, it gets drenched with sweat. But for the price, this is a great option!

Nope, not for me
Here are the list of issues I have with this strap.1) This strap is definitely made for larger heads. I'm a 5'11" 190 pound dude so consider myself a little larger than normal, but it didn't wrap properly around the back of my head. Even after tightening and adjusting a hundred times, I could not get this strap to fit comfortably. It was too loose and wiggled around.2) It is cheaply made. The ratcheting mechanism is very difficult to loosen. I continuously felt as though I would break it whenever I loosened or tightened it.3) The rear halo is too large. While trying to dodge bullets with Pistol Whip it was continuously digging into the back of my neck.4) It is very loose and wobbles around on my head while playing fitness games.5) Due to how loose the halo was around the back of my head, it placed an enormous amount of pressure on my cheeks. Ouch!!!If your head is a little smaller than average, avoid this strap. If you have a larger head, than you may be OK. But regardless of the size of your head, I still find it to be quite cheap feeling, and I question how long this item will last before the ratchet breaks. The strap that came with the Quest 2 was far more comfortable.Unfortunately, I had to return the Elite strap w/ battery due to the weak plastic issue. Once they fix that issue, I'll probably buy another one as it was much much much more comfortable on my head.

Good. Tricky installation.
Received this with minimal instruction on how to set up and install. The instructions on the product page on Amazon are much more clear and we used those to install. Some moments, we didn't know how much force to use. It requires a bit of force, but not too much.Fit is quite good. Although the ear sometimes rubs the wrong way.

No more sore foreheads
Let's be honest here - the stock strap for the VR headset is absolute garbage. This however is SOOOO COMFORTABLE. I have never seen or used the oculus elite strap so I cannot compare here. But this is a thousand times better than the stock strap. I have yet to use it during more aggressive or quick movement type games, but for what I was playing it never moved and was VERY comfortable. My headset almost felt lighter.... maybe because I didn't have unnecessary force from the elastic on my head. But this is a winner winner chicken dinner. Easy to install/set up. Will review in a few months after much usage to see how it holds up over time. First impressions are great tho.

Solid, well constructed and balanced. (edit: not so solid, had to edit review)
Fits the quest 2 perfect. Feels solid and balances the headset better than the original strap. Easier now to put on the headset. Assembly is tight so be careful removing the old one. This one marked on each piece L and R so know where they go but it’s tight to snap together. That just means though that once assembly is completed it should solid.Edit: March 13/21. Well after a month and half it’s developing a hairline crack on the left strap. I believe it’s a manufacturer defect as I’ve seen a lot of people with the same issue on Facebook Oculus Community group chats. The strap is under constant twist pressure because the angles are different at the Oculus attach points than how it enters the back, like wringing out a cloth. This constant pressure eventually creates a stress facture. The strap needs to be more flexible, twistable. I’m not an engineer but I know if you make a bridge that doesn’t flex it will develop stress factures as well and eventually break.
