These are very sturdy lamp harps and they have worked out great for me. I wanted to change the height of the harp on a pair of antique french lamps so I went in search of harps on Amazon. I figured a two inch shorter size would work well so I ordered this 8 inch pair. They are very hardy and worked out great. They were just what my antique lamps needed and now I have a set of new lampshades that fit perfectly. Lowering the harps by two inches was the perfect solution. I actually didn't know what this piece of hardware was called but when I was looking for a new finial several lamp harps came up in the search. I put two and two together and decided to risk ordering a pair of 8 inch harps, which was two inches shorter than the old harps. These harps are strong and hold up the heavy shades perfectly. They were easy to install as well. I now have two antique lamps with new contemporary shades that look amazing. I recommend these sturdy harps. They are very well made and can make a old lamp look new again.

Product on Amazon: On Amazon Royal Designs had listed both 11 inch "heavy duty" lamp harps, and these (just lamp harp - not noted to be heavy duty). So I expected these to be less durable than "heavy duty". However, I would define the lamp harps I received as VERY durable - in fact if these are not heavy duty, it's hard to imagine how much more durable "heavy duty" could be. I was replacing the smaller lamp harps that came with lamps I purchased several years ago. In comparison to my old lamp harps, these are far thicker and heavier.Review: These are very nice lamp harps. They are a gold color. They come with both the saddle and the finial. The lamp harp prongs fit well in the harp saddle. Even though I did not really want or need "heavy duty" lamp harps, these are great. They are very attractive - if anyone chooses to look inside of my lamp shades, they should be impressed with these.

I ordered these harps to go on a fabulous pair of vintage lamps. The harps are finished so nicely with no rough edges; and the color is a rich and beautiful gold. They are very sturdy and provide solid support for the shades that I chose. Thank you for such an excellent product.

I needed a pair of shade hoops to freshen up a couple lamps. These hoops were an easy upgrade.

Ordered a lamp that mistakenly didn't come with the harp and finial. Decided to order this instead of returning the whole lamp, and it works perfectly! Nice gold/brass color and easy to install. Didn't use the very bottom piece because my lamp already had that piece, but the rest of the harp and the finial fit perfectly. Decent price. Very happy with purchase.

Only one harp included although the picture is showing two pieces on the website. As for quality it looks and feels the bear minimum, nothing fancy to expect.

This harp if PERFECT to allow us to fit the Fabulous Royal Designs Lampshades to UK style fittings. Can't praise highly enough thank you. Will be back for more..... These are all American fittings BUT ….. My husband disconnects and removes the UK bulb holder.... Then fits the Harp and reconnects the cables and UK bulb holder to the lamp base ON TOP of the Harp Saddle …. Hope this helps.
