Worth every cent….
Great radio with Am/Fm & has Bluetooth. Sound quality is full, clear and balanced. So easy to operate as two knobs to turn and unit looks great and built with detailed craftsmanship. High end materials and technology. Superb choice!

5 star radio; great quality; well made and looks like it;
Great radio; use a Terk antenna for long distance FM radio reception; they have a cheap one and one that has electric power; the cheap one worked best on my Tivola radio reception but try both and see which one works for you and return other one to Amazon.com for refund. I kept both because the power Terk antenna worked best on my high end AM/FM receiver and the cheap one on my Tivoli radio.

The bluetooth is nearly unusable
The design of the speaker is very beautify, and more compact than the pictures might suggest. Knobs have absolutely no play or cheap feel. The build is fantastic. Bluetooth connectivity, however, is a total wash. I am using a Samsung S7 and an Apple 5 phone primarily. Range seems to max out at about 20 feet, direct line of sight (not impressive). Also, connecting is very hit or miss. Sometimes I need to restart my phone, sometimes unplug and turn on/off the Model One. Other times, a connections simply cannot be made and I give up only to find it will reconnect the next week. I have purchased a Marshal Kilburn in the past (returned it... bluetooth functionality was also very poor). Amazing that the market can command these prices, and people like myself are willing to pay it, yet the manufacturer's are seemingly incapable of producing bluetooth speakers that work well. I have Oontz angle that cost $25 that connects perfectly -- every time -- and sounds great. Why not the Tivoli. Being past the Amazon return deadline, and feeling like a warranty claim will do little (per other reviewers claims), I purchased a $20 auxilary bluetooth receiver for this. It connects much more reliably, but added to the wire situation and seems to make the speaker sound more boomy, although it may just be my imagination. Radio functions on this Tivoli so seem to work quite well, so I am happy with that.

Portable tivoli great reception ,model1. AM no so great
I was looking forward to receiving my tivoli one but sadly I returned it . The AM stations were impossible to get , my 10.00 transistor radio brought these stations in just fine . The Bluetooth worked well but when I turn up the volume the radio cut out . I am going to buy the portable tivoli to see if it is any better. Fast forward 1 week just got my portable tivoli and I am very happy am stations are clear as a bell ! Bluetooth works great ! Small but great sound this is what I have been looking for and it's on sale 199.00 !

Great kitchen audio solution
Update I've been using this great little radio in my kitchen for the past three months, and I have to say it's just excellent. The audio quality really impresses me. It's rich and warm, and sounds far superior to any tabletop radio I've ever owned. Obviously it won't replace a full audio component system, but for what it is -- a small radio -- the sound is great. The rotary dial is cool. A digital display is of course more convenient for dialing in stations, but the rotary dial is easy to use. And it's better suited for fine-tuning. The bluetooth works just fine. As I mentioned in my original review, you have to pair your device every time you want to use it. It sounds like a major chore, but in practice it really doesn't bother me. It takes less than five seconds to pair an iPhone/iPod. Great little radio. # # # I got this little radio for the kitchen, to replace an alarm clock-stereo that always seemed out of place. The audio is fantastic. HUGE improvement over the cheap table-top radios you buy at Target or wherever. Between the solid wood cabinet, the large speaker and the bass port underneath, the sound is fantastic and much richer and bigger than you'd expect from such a small package. Also, it's clearly better to have one big speaker (mono), than two little ones (stereo); with a unit this size, stereo imaging isn't possible anyway, so two speakers are unnecessary. The Bluetooth works great. Only gripe -- and others have noted this -- is you have to pair your BT device EVERY TIME you want to use it. The unit doesn't automatically pair. It only takes a few seconds to go into Settings/Bluetooth/Pair, but it's kind of a drag. The only workaround is to pair one and only one device; if you do this, the unit will automatically pair to that one device. If you pair another device, you'll forever have to manually pair whatever device you want to use. Anyway. Great product. Happy with the purchase.

Bravo, Tivoli! Out-performs the competition, past or present!
We haven't bought a real radio since 1968 when we received a mahogany Telefunken AM/FM/SW, so this year we sprang for the Tivoli Audio M1BTBBS Model One BT Bluetooth AM/FM Radio as a Valentine celebration. It far exceeds our expectations and performance is comparable or even better than its forerunner, the KLH ONE. I was impressed with how easily we set it up and we can use it with or without the included antenna. Best of all, the Bluetooth feature allows us to pay wirelessly from an iPad mini using iTunes mp3s as well as Wunderground Radio, Pandora, Slacker, Spotify, and other apps. It's like getting a BOSE radio with an XM radio thrown in for free! Bravo, Tivoli!

Beautiful look, disappointing sound
I own a Sangean WR-11 and have it in my kitchen. I decided to get the Tivoli for the bathroom. The size and look are great! But, when I listened to a song with even a little bit of bass, there was nothing there? I popped over to the Sangean and it sounded pretty darn good for a little speaker. Back to the Tivoli and... Nothing. I really wanted to keep it but decided to send it back and look for something with a little better sound. If all you want is style and bass-less sound (talk radio, for instance), or you don't really care about the sound, and you don't mind paying a premium, it's a nice looking and nicely built stereo. But, for me, anything with a speaker should pump the jams, especially for this price! 2/5 for me. Bummer!

Model ONE BT Rocks!
I'm particular about sound and audio, especially in radio receiving. I went through multiple CC Crane, Sangean, and Tec-Sun radios to find one that has great sound, design simplicity, and ease of features. This radio is it!! The only other desktop/ portable I have found that gives at least as great of audio reception (though with more bands) is the Tecsun 880. Not sure why I hesitated so long... price maybe? It wasn't worth all the extra effort to buy/return the lesser brands/models. Don't wait, jump in... but this MODEL ONE BT!!

Just the right size.
It is small, compact and has a pretty good sound. Got rid of the bulky sterio system & speakers and the radio sits neatly in the corner. Has it's own speakers and that's all we need.
