This review is for the 12 pack of "Brown & Red Rice With Chia & Kale". I acquired this 02/2022, and have been pleased with this purchase. I am familiar with Seeds of Change products, and strive to keep some in my pantry at all times. Just works really well for quick meals, emergency meals, meal on the go, and for adding texture and flavor to a dish. I like how the serving size is simple, with the information for half a packet or a whole packet included. Depending on what I am using it for, I will consume the whole packet. I am a big eater.Last night a couple of these packets came in handy at dinner time. I really didnt have a dinner plan, but I had some boneless chicken to cook up. So what I did was cook that separately, then in a pan I added 2 packets of this Brown & Red rice along with a small pat of butter, a splash of chicken broth (cooking off the chicken breasts) and some frozen peas, and frozen onions. Added in some garlic & fresh ground pepper to season as this particular variety doesn't have additional seasonings in it other than salt. Chia and kale add a depth of flavor but not a punctuated flavor.Cooked that on low until chicken was done. Then I shredded the chicken and added that in. Made for a hearty dinner "bowl". We even had left overs- so really only one packet was needed.5 stars because I will buy again (just added more to cart).

hi Loves! so i am trying to eat healthy, sure when it’s trending i would buy it, when it has good reviews, i’d try it, but this rice? i had to put my own reviews!!!! because it’s hella good, it tastes amazing, it taste soooo healthy! sooo good quality rice and the price??? chef’s kiss! i highly highly recommend!!! i am excited to try all of the variations.

This is a great product! I use it as a side dish at meals. I have also used the quinoa rice in my casseroles in place of pasta. Great in homemade soups! Wonderful and easy to make! Quick shipping!

I last purchased a pack of 12 quinoa & brown rice a few weeks ago. The packs were as described and in good order, not expired or opened or damaged in any way. I like the ease of these packets and it tastes good. I usually add Briana's cilantro lime dressing to this particular variety after heating it up. I love it!

The rice tastes great. The same brand (different flavor) I bought at Costco has a BB date that was over a year in the future. The ones I received from Amazon expires in 1.5 month - 1 star removed.

I just got a box of these rice pouches delivered today and I've already used 4 of them. They make a quick and healthy dinner. I sauteed a bunch of chopped poblano peppers from my veggie garden, added some TJ's roasted corn kernels (from frozen), some leftover cooked black beans, then this Spanish-style rice, mixed it all, and then heated it through. I also mixed in some salsa as I found it a little dry, as well as some smoked salt to taste. Served it with grated queso fresco and organic blue corn chips. Four of these pouches plus the additional ingredients served 4 adults, and I didn't have any leftovers!

I've never been one to eat rice, nor have I ever tried quinoa...however, I have had to switch to a high fiber, high protein, vegan diet, due to my fragile gut health and IBS-C/Diverticulitis. Since I love garlic, and this met all my current diet criteria, I decided to give it a try. I can say without reserve, it has changed my eating habits and pallet! I've had it with refried beans, as well as Bean Vivo's Vegan Bean Chili (twice). It goes with several dishes, as well as standing alone. It's filling and flavorful with a nice touch of garlic, which I love! It's easy for me to pop in the microwave for a minute and a half and have a meal. It will be my new mainstay in the pantry, and I highly recommend this Seeds of Change Organic Quinoa & Brown Rice with Garlic to anyone that's looking for a delicious side dish or a quick meal.
