Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free Face Powder, Light Coverage Mineral Makeup for Sensitive Skin – Translucent

I purchased this for myself. I am very pale, more like porcelain. Well the product works extremely well, I think I purchased the wrong color for my complexion. I love that it has a touch of sparkle in it. The product itself is perfect, no issue. It goes on it stays on. Like I said I think I just purchased the wrong color.

Thank heaven for "translucent" powders, because if they didn't exist I would always look like I had makeup caked on. I've been using Physician's Formula face powders for a few years now, and I still give them five stars. I actually got started using mineral makeup about eight or nine years ago when I worked for The Body Shop in a mall, a few doors down from Bare Escentuals and a Sephora. That was about the time I became a makeup diva and just had to have the latest mineral makeup. After I quit and wasn't getting that nice employee discount anymore I had to find a less expensive alternative. I'm pretty happy to say that the Physicians Formula has been great as far as mineral face powders go. It's lightweight and it doesn't make my face oily, and even on those days I fall asleep and forget to take off my makeup it's never clogged my pores. I use a kabuki brush to apply it, it really helps the powder spread nicely and two light coats usually gives me the coverage I need to even out my skin and give a nice matte finish. It does come with a small, cheap powder brush underneath the compact, but if you really want to to get the quality this powder has to offer I suggest a kabuki or blush brush. I also find myself having to re-apply after my lunch break, but that's just my level of skin oil I think.

This is the best face powder I have tried. I’ve used several luxury and drugstore powders, loose and set, and this one is amazing. You only have to tap your brush to get the product so it’s quick and easy to get the right amount to apply. I also love this because it has a beautiful finish - it’s not completely matte and leaves your skin looking airbrushed and glowy. I use this daily whether I have foundation underneath or not. Without foundation it creates a nice blurring effect and doesn’t cause breakouts with daily use. With foundation it sets it nicely without giving that awful flashback - in fact, my skin looks like I don’t have anything on when I use it. It’s that good. I’ve noticed that the “transparent” is a bit lighter than “creamy natural”. It doesn’t with stand do drops very well but is great for travel since it’s not a loose powder that makes a mess. I’m on my third and it lasts me about 6 months with near every day use. I will be repurchasing when necessary !!

This Product is fantastic!! I have very sensitive skin - i guess it comes with age lol and everything irritates my face as of lately and also have developed nice super red cheeks... Once applied it covers most of the redness and no irritation at all throughout the day. Will definitely purchase again along with some of there other products!

Have used for years and wish it was still first line and in stores. So glad it’s online, do NOT know what I’d do without it. Great case, great matte finish, just love it

Great product but the powder breaks inside the case and it's really no longer usable or not anything I want to put in my handbag.

Used it for the first time yesterday. For me, I stopped wearing foundation as my skin is clear is, but this imparts a great satin finish, doesn't dry me out or pill & the colour matches my in-between shade. Loving it so far :)
