Maglite Black Plain Leather Belt Holder for D-Cell Flashlight

I liked that it easily clipped onto my Duty belt without an issue. The plastic ring is pretty sturdy too. The only issue I have is that when getting in and out of a Patrol Vehicle, sometimes the flashlight will fall out. But if you position it correctly each time before getting out, you'll get the hang of it. It also replaced my makeshift holster with wasn't as sturdy. The other people saying that it hits your leg when walking haven't been a LE/Security Officer. You'll get used to it. It definitely passes the running after someone test

The product is fine I had one before don't be confused its a hard plastic ring NOT METAL works fine I bought this to carry my Nitecore MH40GT same head size as the maglite D cell but much smaller body I'd love to tell you it works perfectly with the Nitecore BUT I'm still waiting for this company PEAK TRADING to send it. I ordered it February 24th 2023 it said expect delivery between March 8-10th well it's now March 11th and according to the USPS website for the tracking number they gave me "a label has been created USPS awaiting package March 1st"?? I would buy this product again just not from this company PEAK TRADING no respect for there customers they had no problem taking my money instantly but send me my product nooooo can't do that. I'll be boycotting PEAK TRADING and I recommend you do too. There are so many companies that will send you your stuff quickly because they like good reviews and return customers NOT PEAK TRADING LOL

Holds D-cell Maglites on your belt. The light flops around a bit if you have it on the side of your hip, but that's unavoidable unless you want some big complicated leg harness. Clasps together with a large pant button, so no need to worry about stitching. The pant button also means you can add or remove it from your belt without having to unlatch the whole belt. When not holding a light, the ring flops up and down sometimes, which can be distracting, but you can just tuck it under the next thing over on your belt. Reasonably priced. Attractive black leather. The ring appears to be plastic, not metal. This could be good or bad depending on your use cases.

Seems ok. I can't give it 5 stars because I don't know how it will hold up over time. It is leather, and if you spend $2 more you can get the same item in nylon if that matters to you. I have a rough grip tape on the flashlight, and that has already scraped the leather on the belt holder. Holds the 3 D cell Maglite with no problems. Not too tight nor too loose. Not sure how it will function if you have to run with it. The only kind of negative thing I can say about it is that the ring is plastic. It would be better if the ring were steel or aluminum. Maybe they have been plastic for year, so it may not matter. Overall a good item.

I keep this clipped on the carry handle of my backpack and let my 4D classic hang in between my back and the pack. Works for any length of D cell.

I purchased this item to be used as a belt loop and D-ring for a boltaron knife sheath I made for my ontario SP8. Overall I have found it to be very high quality as you would expect form Maglite however, the leather belt loop was extremely dry. Not just need some oil dry were talking Sahara dry, like leather that's been in the attic for 30 years dry, as dry As I have ever seen leather and I have a lot of leather. After liberally applying Ballistol leather oil it loosed right up however and I have no concerns about its long term durability. The nylon ring seems very durable to me and I don't agree with other reviewers that it should be steel. Not all plastic is the same and this nylon ring is tough, similar to trying to break a soda bottle I don't worry about this rings strength. The button closure on the belt loop snaps securely and appears to be of high quality, does not seem like it would easily come unsnapped. overall would highly recommend for Maglite carry or for any belt hanging needs.

This holder is well made and fits the Fenix TK-41 series lights, but when is China going to stop making rubber and plastic parts with caustic smelly chemicals? The leather is premium, snaps are great, fit is good, but the smell of the slightly stretchy plastic holder ring is terrible. I have washed it with dishwashing liquid soap, wiped it with alcohol, left it out in the sun and air for weeks, and it still stinks. I really love the build and the fit, and it might even function as a hammer or other tool holder, but the chemicals in the plastic ring make my eyes and nose burn. I am still hoping that it will stop off-gassing at some point because I really like it - 2 months and the wait continues.

L'anello da cintura (cinturone) per la torcia originale è sicuramente la soluzione perfetta per portarsi dietro la torcia senza necessariamente doverla tenere tutta la notte in mano. Direi che abbinato alla Maglite 4-D si trova un buon connubio in quanto il peso non è così poco gestibile come nel caso della 6-D che ovviamente potrebbe essere più utile in certe situazioni ma genericamente basta la 4. Comunque l'anello permette di tenere saldamente la torcia appesa alla cintura senza preoccupazioni e direi che diventa INDISPENSABILE; di conseguenza lo consiglio vivamente a chiunque svolga servizi tipo quelli notturni e ha con sè una torcia di dimensioni "non tascabili"....

Wenn man von Standardzubehör für Mag-Lites spricht, gibt es um den Gürtelring fast kein drum rum kommen. Mag-Lites sind schon in der "kleinsten" Version der D-Cell, die 2D-Cell, alles andere als handlich und geeignet für Handtaschen. Wenn es nur um Handlichkeit geht, so gibt es viele kleine Alternativen. Fragt man jedoch nach Lichtleistung, Strahlweite und Leuchtdauer, so merkt man bald, dass es viele Argumente für die Mag-Lite gibt. Das einzige wirkliche Problem, die Transportfähigkeit, wird durch diesen Ledergürtelring gelöst. Durch eine reichhaltige Sammlung an Mag-Lites, welche sich bei uns über die Jahre angesammelt haben(teilweise schon älter als ich selbst), konnte ich den Gürtelring an den unterschiedlichen Typen testen und kam zu dem Ergebnis, dass der Gürtelring (fast) universal einsetzbar ist. Test mit der 2D-Cell: Die 2D-Cell, ist das Nesthäkchen, der D-Cell-Familie. Mit nur 2 D-Batterien ist sowohl ihr Gewicht, als auch ihre länge minimal. Und das macht sie für den idealen Begleiter für den Gürtelring. Insbesondere die größeren Mag-Lites ziehen schwer und einseitig am Gürtel. Bei schnellen Bewegungen bekommt man es mit der Angst zu tun, dass der Gürtelring reißt. Nicht so bei der 2D-Cell. Schnelle Bewegungen(kurze Sprints, längeres Joggen) lassen sich ohne Probleme durchführen. Auch leichte Sprünge verkraftet der Gürtelring ohne sichtbare Lockerung des Verschlusses. Das schlagen auf den Oberschenkel durch den Griff wird beim normalen Gehen nicht als sonderlich störend wahrgenommen. Insbesondere für längere Märsche oder Außeneinsätze ist die 2D-Cell also die ideale Wahl. Test mit der 3D-Cell Für uns ist die 3D-Cell das Standardmodell. Wir besitzen sie 4 Mal(3 auf den Autos, eine im Gemeinschaftsraum). Sie vereint beides, lange Leuchtdauer und akzeptables Gewicht. Gerade das Gewicht schlägt sich auf den Gürtelring wieder. Rennen ist möglich, man merkt aber das zusätzliche Gewicht. Man merkt dann auch den Griff stärker und deutlich unangenehmer am Oberschenkel. Durch die Schwingbewegungen wird auch das einseitige Gewicht deutlich spürbarer. Trotzdem ist es noch in einem Rahmen wo man eine absolute Einsatztauglichkeit für den Gürtelring aussprechen kann, denn in aller Regel gewöhnt man sich nach einer kurzen Zeit an das etwas höhere Gewicht. Test mit der 4D-Cell Die 4D-Cell ist für meine Zwecke das absolute Maximum. Das schwerer Gewicht hängt deutlich am Gürtel. Beim Rennen und springen wird stark am Gürtel gezogen. Insbesondere beim Rennen fängt die 4D-Cell an ordentlich zu schwingen, was nicht nur am Oberschenkel stört, sondern auch in engen räumlichen Verhältnissen/z.B. Wald, Fußgängerzone) stark stören kann. Das hohe Gewicht stört jedoch den Verschluss eines (neuen Gürtelrings) kaum. Gebraucht man jedoch einen älteren(2 Jahre aufwärts), kann es für den Druckknopf eine zu hohe Belastung bedeuten. Hier bietet es sich unter Umständen an, wenn ein Druckknopf beschädigt ist, eine Niete zu verwenden. So kann man den Ring zwar nicht mehr per Druckknopf entfernen, jedoch kann der Ring so nicht "aus Versehen" aufgehen. Test mit der 5D-Cell Leider stand am Standort keine 5D-Cell zur Verfügung. Angesichts des Test mit der 4D-Cell und der 6D-Cell würde ich jedoch die 5D-Cell als tendenziell ungeeignet für den Gürtelring ansehen. Die einseitige und ungünstige punktuelle Gewichtsbelastung, sowie der lange Griff werden wohl eher als störend empfunden. Test mit der 6D-Cell Das Ungetüm, fast schon mehr Baseball-Schläger als Taschenlampe. Sinnvoll als Taschenlampe mit unglaublicher Leuchtdauer/Lichtausbeute? Ja, durchaus. Geeignet für den Gürtelring? Wohl kaum. Das sich eine 6D-Cell nicht für den Gürtelring eignet, sollte eigentlich jeder wissen, der dieses Tier schon mal in der Hand hatte. Das hohe Gewicht an einem schmalen Lederband, dass direkt am Gürtel zieht ist unangenehm. Rennen ist durch den sehr langen Griff, welcher einem fast zwischen die Beine schlägt sehr unangenehm. Springen durch die Gefahr, dass der Druckknopf des Gürtelrings aufspringt, ist auch eher unangenehm. Von der Gefahr, dass man die Hose verliert, ganz zu schweigen. Fazit Ist der Ring seine Anschaffung wert? Zweifelsohne. Natürlich kommt es auf den Zweck der Anschaffung an, sollte man jedoch die kleineren Taschenlampen oft im Einsatz haben und doch gelegentlich freie Hände brauchen oder braucht man einen schnellen Zugriff auf die Lampen, so ist der Gürtelring ideal. Auch die Gefahr, dass das Plastik im Winter/bei Kälte spröde wird, konnte ich bis jetzt nie feststellen. Leider kommt es doch bei häufigen/starken Gebrauch des Rings zu Problemen mit dem Drrckverschluss, welcher jedoch z.B. durch eine Niete ersetzt werden kann. Da die Vorteile, die Nachteile eindeutig aufwiegen, kann ich ohne schlechtes Gewissen 5/5 Sterne vergeben.

Este porta linterna cumple a la perfección su cometido. El enganche al cinturón parece cuero o similar, va con corchete y no tienes que quitar la correa del pantalón para engancharlo. La anilla parece plástico, pero resistente.Mi linterna es igual a la que viene en la foto de presentación de este producto.

So I do own a Mag-lite and I have used this to carry it but I mainly use this to hold my wireless microphone in when I'm on stage. I've seen several versions of this some with Nylon loops but this one has a good quality leather hoop with a good strong popper on it which does not click open under the weight of a torch. Great Product.

Tengo dos Maglite de pilas tamaño D. Una de tres pilas y otra de dos pilas. Es muy útil para colgarte las Maglite de pilas D. En mi caso salgo a caminar en la noche y por donde salgo hay mucha fauna (liebres, lechuzas, etc) y es muy útil tener la linterna colgando y las manos libres, así sólo para cuando se use está a la mano. Es importante remarcar que es necesario usar cinturón, no sirve con pants o con otro tipo de vestimenta.
