Ebac 2650E 18 Litre Dehumidifier with Air Purification and Laundry Mode

I bought this to replace one of the same model. That dehumidifier has been running constantly for close to 14 years. Where we live it is extremely humid with the humidity hardly ever going below 70% so a dehumidifier is a necessity. After getting the previous one all the damp and mould problems ceased completely so we know it works. This dehumidifier is slightly different in design, our previous one came with the carbon filter while on this one the filter and frame are an option. Will try the other filter and get the carbon one if required. The smart function makes the setup a breeze and if you don’t want to keep emptying the water out of it you can buy a drain kit to constantly remove the water. I also like the fact that it is UK made. After first installing the dehumidifier removed 18 litres of water in a single day and has done this every day since installing. Starting to slow down now though.

I have had the same model for over 30 years and it's worked brilliantly until the other week when the control panel started to do some weird disco action lights so at 30 years time for a new one. The new one it equally as brilliant the new software it removing loads of moisture and I am very happy with it, ok not the cheapest but I think the best, if your dehumidifier is getting old change it...what a difference...full marks Ebac.

After several days use it no longer maintains continuous or ‘MAX’ mode. Readout says MAX but humidity sits around 55%, at first it dropped it to 36% in that room. Switching it off and on again resolved it for about 1/2 hour then compressor goes off again. Poor quality control.

I bought my Ebac at least 8 years ago. It is without doubt.. amazing! I dry my laundry in my kitchen diner during the winter. It dries a large full airer of wet washing. I turn my ceiling fan on and just close the door, leaving my trusty Ebac to work its magic! It dries within a few hours, without fail. My grandson's flat is quite damp, so I'm giving him mine and treating myself to a new one! Well worth the money :)

Compact. Extracts 2 litres a day from my home which it says is tge optimal amount. Reasonably quiet. Smart mode runs when excess moisture is detected and turns off when not needed. Quality made and great customer service.
