It contains gelatin and so is not halal option
According to Google standard Solgar Vitamin D softgels are not Halal unless explicitly marked. They typically use gelatin derived from bovine or porcine sources, which is not Halal. I was unaware so had discard them as itโs non returnable item.

Good Product!
Years ago, this company started out in a town next to where I grew up so I've known about them for years. I like the fact that these soft gels come in a brown, glass bottle rather than plastic. I assume they work well and they're easy to swallow. Although they may cost a little more, I like that they've been around for many years, have a good reputation and the way they're packaged. Never had any negative issues.
