It contains gelatin and so is not halal option
According to Googlestandard Solgar Vitamin D softgels are not Halal unless explicitly marked. They typically use gelatin derived from bovine or porcine sources, which is not Halal.I was unaware so had discard them as itโs non returnable item.

Years ago, this company started out in a town next to where I grew up so I've known about them for years. I like the fact that these soft gels come in a brown, glass bottle rather than plastic. I assume they work well and they're easy to swallow. Although they may cost a little more, I like that they've been around for many years, have a good reputation and the way they're packaged. Never had any negative issues.
