This has got to be my favorite themed cookbook. Not just because the theme is beloved, but also because there are sooooo many good recipes in here. Here are some of the best ones: Otik's Skillet Fried Potatoes - These take a little extra effort but WOW are they worth it! Oniony and spicey. Yawning Portal Buttermilk Biscuits - So good I make them now for every Thanksgiving and Yule dinner. Elven Bread - This is a two loaf batch recipe. Easy to make. I always keep some handy. Mildly sweet but not too sweet. Awesome for PB&Js, even better for french toast. My advice always use rapid rise yeast to get the best rise and replace the whole milk with soy milk. It doesn't hurt the taste or texture at all. It not only makes the bread softer but without the dairy the bread lasts a long time without getting moldy - at least a week, retaining that soft texture the whole time. Delzoun Tide-Me-Overs - D&D's answer to swedish meatballs but better. Even changed the beef and pork to chicken and pork and was still awesome. Halfling Oatmeal Sweet Nibbles - An oatmeal cookie you actually want to eat. No raisins, just chocolate and butterscotch chips. Rakhan The Cruel's Flame Roasted Halfling Chili - Best chili ever. Even better when you add green or red bell peppers and sweet corn to give even more substance.

Nice quality book. Great recipes. A hit withy husband and his DND friends. I'm hoping to do YouTube videos soon using these recipes
