Puroma Webcam Stand GooseNeck Mount Desktop Camera for Logitech Webcam

My workplace issued a new requirement that we all have our webcams on in meetings, but my previous webcam perched on top of my monitor and thus blocked part of the monitor. I don't have a lot of desk space, so I wanted something that could sit just behind the monitor and raise the camera high enough to look over the monitor without blocking my view at all. This works perfectly. It's nice and sturdy, but the extension part can be adjusted/bent however you need. There's an additional ball on the top that lets you angle the camera to ensure it's straight (or not, if you want) after you finish arranging the extension piece. The base is heavy, to keep everything in place when you're done. Overall, it gives a lot more adjustment options than I personally need, so I think it would cover much more extensive needs than my simple application, and it seems like it would stay nicely in place no matter how you adjust it.

This is a great base at a great price, but my web cam (Logitech C910) does not have a threaded base. Rather than buy a new cam, I adapted it to work with this base. Simple, but certainly a warranty killer for the camera (mine was out-of-warranty). The camera has 3 hinged sections but 2 are just the clamps for holding it to a monitor. I drilled an 11/64" hole through the middle section - which was the exact size to allow the threaded part of the new base to slip through the camera clamp, but not too big such that the camera would not drop below the flange at the bottom of the threads. Check the size with a drill bit hole card before you drill anything!!! This hole allowed me to put the camera on the threaded ball at the top of the base goose neck, and then simply screw the threaded plastic disc on top of the camera to hold it. Works like a champ. A few cable ties around the goose neck and it even looks great.

This stand is excellent and meets my needs almost perfectly. The one exception is that I have it situated BEHIND my monitor (not a laptop) and it could use a bit more height. I had to raise it up about 6 or 8 extra inches so the camera would go just over the top of my screen. This is the best location for when I have my Zoom up and want the other person to feel like I'm looking at them instead of off at a camera. But the goose neck works perfectly for dropping down a bit into the monitor space to get this effect.

I used this webcam stand as part of my Jeep - Off-road podcast and video recording setup, and it worked really well for positioning cameras during interviews and livestreams. The base's material is very heavy and sturdy. If you are putting a heavy cam on there it will probably still tip though. It's more user issue on that end of things. The appearance isn't an eyesore (it's on my desk for streaming use) and you can get tons of different angles if you need. It was very easy to put together. All of the materials feel stiff and sturdy. I would definitely recommend!

The quality of this stand is excellent. It’s heavy and sturdy, the base is metal and so is the goose neck. It’s easy to assemble and it’s flexible while also remaining sturdy. I use this for a Razr Kiyo Pro webcam which is decently heavy and I never have to worry about the gooseneck slouching or moving. I’m really glad I made this a part of my setup!

Bought this to use with my Jabra PanaCast 20 camera since I needed the ability to adjust the camera height, orientation, and location to better fit my work location. I was a bit worried if this would be stable enough since the PanaCast 20 is pretty heavy. This stand is very study and stable and works well with the PanaCast. It's not tip prone at all, and exceeded my expectations. Quality of the build is good, and the price is right. Also, the base is compact and heavy, so very stable, and the stand is sleek and functional.

The stand is solid (a bit chunkier than I thought it would be) and sits well on my desk, making my web-cam easier to adjust during meetings. Unfortunately the camera mount was missing from the box when it arrived, and I had to order an alternative. Mistakes happen, of course, but Amazon customer service have been pretty poor in dealing with it. Hopefully resolved now.
