Excellent Roam WiFi Hotspot – Highly Recommended!
I recently purchased the Roam WiFi Box from Amazon, and I couldn't be happier with it. The setup was incredibly easy and took only a few minutes. The connection is fast, stable, and reliable, whether I'm working, streaming videos, or browsing the internet. One of the things I appreciate most is its portability. It's compact, lightweight, and easy to carry when traveling. The battery life is impressive and lasts long enough to get through a busy day without constantly needing a recharge. The signal strength has been excellent, even in areas where I usually experience weak coverage. Overall, the Roam WiFi Box delivers exactly what it promises—dependable internet access wherever I need it.If you're looking for a portable WiFi solution that's simple to use and performs well, I highly recommend the Roam WiFi Box. Great value for the price and definitely a worthwhile purchase! 👍

Road Warrior’s Best Colleague
Fantastic Companion for Work on the Road!I can't say enough good things about the RoamWifi device! As a clinician who spends a lot of time on the road, staying connected is absolutely essential for me to complete my clinical notes and access important resources. This little device has been a game-changer for my workflow and productivity.First off, the setup was incredibly simple—I was up and running within minutes. The connection is reliable and fast, allowing me to seamlessly work on my notes without worrying about interruptions. I've used it in multiple locations, and it has yet to let me down.Another major plus is its portability and battery life. The device is compact and lightweight, making it easy to carry around with me wherever I go. The battery lasts long enough for me to get through a full day of work without constantly needing to recharge. What I love most is how stress-free it has made my workday. No more searching for coffee shops with WiFi or relying on spotty mobile hotspots. The RoamWifi keeps me connected wherever I am, and that peace of mind is priceless. If you're someone who works remotely, travels frequently, or needs reliable internet on the go, this product is a must-have. I’m so glad I made this purchase—it’s been worth every penny!

No Regrets
I am actually using this hotspot as I write this review, and I love having it on hand whenever I need it. It has been very convenient for completing small tasks when I am on the go and need to use my laptop. The connection is fast enough for the everyday tasks I need to complete, and I appreciate how easy it is to use. Its compact size also makes it convenient to carry with me wherever I go without taking up much space.Overall, I am very happy with this purchase and do not regret buying it. It has been a convenient and reliable option to have available when I need internet access while away from home.

Very handy and keeps you connected
Works great! Took on vacation in Northern Michigan. The only downside is you have to be fairly close to the device for it to connect. So if you were trying to connect multiple devices you all need to be in the same 10 to 15 feet radius. It would not connect for us on two different level levels of the house. The setup was simple and easy to follow and overall pleased.

I love this thing
Finally a solution that works for all our international trips. For years we would get a local Europe SIM card for our Huawei mobile wifi (we had 3 phones and a tablet to get online and didn’t want to get multiple SIMs). Although not perfect Orange SIM cards are our overall favorite. The 3 (UK Three) card we used in Scotland 2023 worked fine for data coverage but it never supported WiFi calling mode which means we didn’t get standard SMB (non-iMessage) texts either. Very annoying. Orange never had that problem and we used those all over Europe. But this year we have a South America trip this fall and the Huawei won’t work there. And I wasn’t looking forward to figuring out the SIM card situation anyway, not really any solid options other than get something in-country and we don’t do that. So I looked into various mobile hotspot ecosystems. We settled on RoamWifi and took it on our Portugal trip earlier this year as a sort of test drive (we could have done Orange SIM in the Huawei). It worked great! I love this thing. After getting a plan for your location you do need to give it a few minutes to connect to the local cell system but after that, except in a couple spotty-signal remote areas, it was pretty bulletproof. I love being able to see data usage dynamically. I was never able to do that with the mobile wifi + SIM. Battery life was better than my Huawei so that was a plus. And we have power cells to extend operation so we never had any problems there. Customer support response time (no problems, just questions from me) was very fast. I asked and got answers for 3 questions within a couple hours each time. gLocalMe took days to answer one question. (Might have been over a week). Also, the unit can take a SIM card, so it could be a fall back plan if it comes to it.The plans are mostly reasonably priced, very easy to understand, and are largely consistent w.r.t. GB capacity and days across the available regions. Have you seen GlocalMe’s plan options? So confusing and largely more expensive.A couple knocks but not worthy of down-grading:1- a plan activates right away when you power up the unit when in a location with a purchased plan. I’d prefer some way to activate it myself when I was ready. For example if you need a Canada or Mexico plan you can only get a North America plan which means it activates if you power it up while still home in the U.S. So be careful about that.2- it would be nice to have more days for a given GB amount. There is some variability here among regions. A 30GB/365d Japan plan is $20.90. The $59 N. American 30GB plan is only 30d. Huh? I guess telco reg differences per nation?3- the Latin American plans are almost as expensive as the global data plans. And about 2.5-3x more than Europe or Australia. If it solves our multi-country trip this fall then it will be well worth the cost. And compared to the vaccinations and pills we need… a drop in the bucket.

Exceeded My Expectations
I rarely leave reviews, but this product absolutely deserves one. Setup was incredibly simple, and I was up and running in just a few minutes. The connection has been fast and stable with no noticeable lag, and the speeds have consistently exceeded my expectations. I use it for malware analysis on an isolated test machine, where having a reliable internet connection is important, and it has performed flawlessly. If you're looking for a portable Wi-Fi solution that just works, I highly recommend RoamWiFi.

It's a YES for me!
I needed some kind of internet connection so I could work remotely during a recent trip to very rural Ohio and this worked perfectly. Very portable since it's the size of a cell phone. Easy set-up, connected quickly and had good range with a strong signal. I like that I can buy data plans that fit my ever-changing needs without a contract. Definitely would recommend!

Easy to use , works great
Works very well turns quickly and has great speed, watching a video on YouTube works perfectly. Easy to check data usage just click the power button and It changes the screen menus. I did the speed test in the basement with only 1 bar signal and the speeds were good. The device is nice and small easily fits into your pocket not like some that have are the size of a hockey puck.

Practico y funcional

Very convenient to use
Loved this! Had to travel to the U.S. for work from Japan and didn’t want to buy a SIM card. I was able to connect my phone, laptop, and iPad with no issue. I stayed connected to my work and friends in the U.S. without having to worry about if there would be WiFi somewhere. Was able to fit in my back pocket.

A must buy for travel
I recently came across a travel connectivity solution that has pleasantly surprised me with its consistent performance in various settings. I travelled quite a bit this year both to Kenya and Japan. This unassuming device has proven to be a reliable companion during my recent travels.During a safari in Kenya, where connectivity is often challenging, this device demonstrated its reliability with a strong and consistent signal. It allowed me to stay connected even in remote areas, enhancing my overall travel experience. I was literally in the middle of the jungle and still had signal. I had the same experience when I travelled to Tokyo and Kyoto in Japan - the device continued to deliver a reliable connection. What sets this device apart is not just its performance but also the affordability of its plans and battery life. Cost wise its cheaper than going through your carrier, especially if all you need is data and won't be making any calls. Battery last the whole day and you can easily see how much battery as well as data you have left.In summary, if you're seeking a straightforward and reliable travel connectivity solution, this device is worth considering. Its consistent signal strength and budget-friendly plans make it a practical choice for travelers looking to stay connected without unnecessary complications.
