That is, it binds to aluminum in the body and allows it to be excreted. In other words, it helps to detox aluminum, a notorious neurotoxin.Because of its high concentration of magnesium, the tablets are large. I have no trouble swallowing them, but if that is an issue for some, the tablets could be sliced to a smaller size. All in all, I think this is a very good buy for magnesium malate.

This is a great product! I chose this type of magnesium because it may draw heavy metals out of the body. But the benefits that I’ve really noticed are better sleep and elimination of leg cramps. I take one tablet with dinner, and I don’t have any digestive problems as with other types of magnesium. The tablets are a bit large but I don’t have any problem swallowing them. Purely Holistic supplements are the best, and customer service is awesome. I am switching all of my supplements to this brand because I trust them, and I can tell they work. These are great! Stopped muscle cramps in my legs

I have Fibromyalgia and keep reading that I need to be taking magnesium. I have ordered Magnesium Glycinate from this company and liked it, but recently ordered this Magnesium Malate and think I prefer it over the Glycinate. It seems to help my muscles but also increases my energy. It only takes two caplets and it doesn’t upset my stomach. I feel good when I take it. I have been really happy with the supplements from this company. They are packaged nicely and you get a lot for the money. I am big on smelling supplements before taking them, and these all have such pleasant fresh smells. Even the B complex has a mild smell, which I appreciate because sometimes just the smell of b vitamins are enough to discourage me from taking them. These Magnesium Malate pills are a hard oblong shape, and are very pleasant to smell too.

I typed up a long amazon review only for it to be deleted for some nonsense without the ability to fix whatever is wrong so I'll leave it simple out of frustration and annoyance. Product is great in every way outside the choking hazard of the pill that even when cut in half caused me 24 hours of grief until I coughed it up with blood and mucus. The Malate pill is much wider than the Glycinate and the risk isn't worth it. Be careful. Product is fine outside of that but it's a very frightening experience to choke on these pills. It would be better that the pill was reformed and a lower dose of magnesium malate was offered to prevent such a thing. I like to go into more details but I did that once and lost a huge amount of details and I'm not going to play this game with Amazon reviewers.
