Glixal GY6 125cc 150cc to 155cc 58.5mm Racing Big Bore Cylinder Kit

Installed and working flawlessly! I have been using Glixal part's exclusively to suit my needs. So far so good!

Sleeve had a crack in it, used anyways and has held up all summer

When I first rebuilt my gy6 150cc motor I had low compression and excessive oil in the cylinder. I tore the engine apart again and found that my piston rings were installed upside down. I flipped them over the right way and the engine has 155psi compression and no oil problems. The motor runs great after 3 hours or so of run time. You DO NOT need to bore the case on your motor with this kit which as also really nice. You will almost certainly need to rejet your carb. I used a #125 main jet with this big bore kit, performance head, nibbi intake, and straight through exhaust.

Much better then the last one I purchased piston fit good ran great I would recommend it. Just reused head there was no issues with mine

Arrived as it should all parts included but...Very poor quality. cylinder wall failed on 3 different ones in less than 500 miles on each I would not recommend this

Purchased this kit in 2020 and worked fine. Lost compression so decided to purchase same kit again, but after assembling, the piston hits the crankshaft and will not allow full revolutions. Piston is visibly different on the new kit vs. the old kit.

Check your piston. This one was an exact match for my engine. This one lined up with the valves perfectly. Others had different valve profiles in the piston.

Seems ok. rings are very hard to clock mark the oil rings. exhaust gasket is useless unless you use sealant. In fact all the gaskets were sub OEM and wound up replacing them with higher quality.
