How much water do you use per packet?  Is it more economical to buy the bulk container?

This is currently more economical than the bulk container - the bulk container that sells for $8 makes 30 quarts (same as 60 pints).  So buying 2 of the bulk for $16 (close to the $16.99 price for these individual packets), you're still only getting 120 pints, as opposed to the 220 pints that you get from these packets...

Does it have expiration date?

I looked on the large box mine came in and I do not see an expiration date printed on it. I can tell you that I live in the midwest where my flower garden is only blooming in the spring and summer; I've had mine for well over a year maybe even two years and it still works great.

What is the difference between the packets labeled floralife express and floralife universal 300?

Floralife Express is the new technology that does not require you to cut the stems at the bottom for the chemical to go into the stem.
according to Floralife this new formula goes through the stem it self to feed the Flower/Green.

The regular Florialife universal 300 is the most known standard Flower food , that used by florists and bouquet makers. this required to add after cutting the stems at the bottom and adding water to the vase.
also use for new plants in gardening to add a power for stem to get stronger while growing and harvesting.

Will it cloud water is a clear glass vase?  I know that some products actually keep the water clear, but not sure about this one.

I kept the flowers in a ceramic vase and changed the water every 2 days also adding new flower food.  The water remained very clear.  I also added about 1/2 teaspoon liquid clorox to the water each time.  You may have cloudy water if you keep the original water and do not change it often.
