This works just as intended. The only reason for dropping a star is that this isn’t the ideal tool for the job. You’re better off getting a cassette remover that isn’t attached to a handle so that you can use it with a torque wrench.

The cassette lock remover tool worked great. The tool is simple and easy to use. But if you're buying this to save some money on bike repair yourself it comes with instructions. This was a good purchase for me, it has already saved me $200 in bike repairs.

Nice bike tool. Much faster and easier than using a spline socket tool and a wrench. No slip. Positive engagement. This, plus the Pedro's Vice Whip, makes swapping cassettes a breeze.

Does the trick. Grip on the handle prevents slipping, and it’s long enough to allow adequate torque.

Works great. The pin in the middle really help stabilize and keep it in position. There is a spot on the top for a torque wrench.
