Works great for those little “drain flies.” Also works on bigger bugs too. Very bright and attracts bugs very quickly. This is a replacement for a failed unit by another manufacturer with a chintzy cord. This cord is heavy duty and doesn’t use USB.

It killed 4 mosquitos in my room the first night. I thought I only had one, but the other three got captured too. It's quiet too. The competitor products had too many vine reviews, so I wasn't sure whether to trust the other products because people will naturally be more positive when it's free. But this product had the normal, non-vine reviews.

10/10!!!! I recommend this brand to all my family and friends. I have bought several for my home and for others as well. My entire family has at least one. This is an indoor high-voltage bug zapper. It most definitely gets rid of those pesky flying insects from as small as a gnat to as big as a wasp. I've experienced them all between having dogs and residents going in and out all day and night. I strongly recommend this product. Everyone should have one of these bug zappers in their home somewhere. It's easy to clean. The dead bugs fall down into a small tray at the bottom, and you can easily slide the tray out to dispose of the dead insects. You'll hear it popping and zapping unexpectedly without even realizing a bug had snuck into your home. They automatically are drawn to the purple LED lights. Those pesky guests will not last long against this device.

I bought the 40 watt last year, and thought, maybe the 20W does just as good. You can look at reviews for the 40W. I assumed they were exaggerations, but the pop from an insect going into it is so loud, it can make your ears ring. The 20W is just as lethal, as far as I can make out (this is not a scientific test) but insects have a tendency to sit on the electrified grid and smolder. That generates a foul smoke. Occasionally, the bugs take a direct shock and lightly pop, but frequently, you'll catch them hung up in there, sparking, with curls of smoke slowly rising. Again, it would take a scientific test, but the 20W does not seem to attract bugs as well. It does lure them in, but if you put it in a bright window, as I do, insects will mostly ignore it until dusk. The 40W will tend to attract them better.

This story starts with reading Marie Kondo’s “The magic of tidying up” and cleaning my home to a level its never seen before. And better yet, right in time for Valentine’s day. During my cleaning I took out a bunch of garbage bags and somehow let in every fruit fly/house fly you can imagine. It wasn’t long before they took over. They were everywhere buzzing around my head flying in my drink. Well if you’re reading this I imagine you have some idea what I went through. I tried apple cider vinegar, disgusting fly trap hell I even PRAYED. And then I ordered this thing and I thought ‘man thats a lot of money for a bug zapper’ but hey it is what it is. I ordered it and plugged it up the first fly flew into it and caught on fire temporarily before falling to its fiery death. The second was shocked so hard it twitched and spun on the table for a couple of minutes before it died a slow agonizing death (I refused to put it out of its misery). The next day I woke up and NOTHING was flying! Everything was dead. Now fruit flies are hard to get rid of but I just leave the lamp plugged up at night when they’re active (and my toddler can’t see the lamp and devise a way to get to it). This lamp arrived on Thursday February 13 th and when I woke up on Valentine’s day there were NONE they were DEAD. I never thought a zapping noise would bring me so much joy, if you’re still reading this buy the zappy thing its wonderful.

The plastic was very poor and did not feel safe at all to ise or leave un attended, the plug was a cheap two pin and the electric fence was only on one side which means that you”ll need to place against a wall I would stongly recommend against this and for just a little more you are bet6er off with something that works, will last and is safe

Tardó en llegar. Lo compré pensando que era de una calidad superior (es más caro que otros similares) pero no. Además es poco eficiente. Sigo usando el Raid.
