- 20W Electric Bug Zapper, Fly Trap and Mosquito Killer for Indoor and Covered Outdoor Spaces, Patio, Garage, Includes 2 Replacement Bulbs, Effective Gnat, Moth and Insect Control

I bought this zapper over ten years ago. It still zaps and original bulbs are still working. It is used only a few times every summer. In the past I have tried many ways to get rid of flies, but none were ever as quick and successful as this zapper. I’ve read that the sound of the zap can be scary (the zap takes a split second). I put the zapper in another room and the sound is lower. On rare occasions there may be many flies so I place it a few feet away and true it is loud. However, during these times I know it’s working, clearing the flies and that after several more zaps the flies will no longer be landing on my leg or my arm or flying a few inches from my face or my television screen or landing on my food, etc. I store the zapper in its original box and don’t place anything on top of the box.

It’s an useful item in summer. 👍 I brought this item many years ago, it’s still working fine now. And I like the provider gave you extra bulbs for backup.

I bought the 40 watt last year, and thought, maybe the 20W does just as good. You can look at reviews for the 40W. I assumed they were exaggerations, but the pop from an insect going into it is so loud, it can make your ears ring. The 20W is just as lethal, as far as I can make out (this is not a scientific test) but insects have a tendency to sit on the electrified grid and smolder. That generates a foul smoke. Occasionally, the bugs take a direct shock and lightly pop, but frequently, you'll catch them hung up in there, sparking, with curls of smoke slowly rising. Again, it would take a scientific test, but the 20W does not seem to attract bugs as well. It does lure them in, but if you put it in a bright window, as I do, insects will mostly ignore it until dusk. The 40W will tend to attract them better.

Best bug zapper ever!! We have these in the garage, man cave pole barn, and 2 inside house. Bugs are attracted to the light & it zaps them so hard it seems like they are Sucked into the machine! You will have a mess of bugs in the tray fast. Tray is easy to dump trash, then I use a quick clorox wipe on it & its fresh. It is so much stronger than other outdoor kinds. The ZAP is so strong, it does make Noise...my ONLY negative is the Zap freaks out my 1 dog. Other dog couldnt care less so depends on your furbaby. It takes out Anything that crawls! Spiders, stinkbugs! Ants, beetles....we had terrible stink bug problem but the zapper cured that by 95% and honestly i needed to clean out the tray is reason why. Also I have this thing on 80% of the year & I think it was least 2 years , maybe 3 before I had to replace a bulb. If you really want a bug free house, no chemicals, this is worth every penny.

I don't think it's very noisy as others have said in their feedback. Definitely gets the flies! I like it so far.

The 1st one lasted about 10 years. Not to bad, I guess. This time it came with an extra set of tubes. That's nice, cuz that was my only real complaint, the tubes only last about a year. That and unfortunately... it's not "self-cleaning"!

Funciona bien sí mata mosquitos a lo mejor no a la velocidad que uno quisiera, pero de los que he tenido es de los que mejor funciona. Sí lo recomiendo.

The plastic was very poor and did not feel safe at all to ise or leave un attended, the plug was a cheap two pin and the electric fence was only on one side which means that you”ll need to place against a wall I would stongly recommend against this and for just a little more you are bet6er off with something that works, will last and is safe
