L’Oréal Paris Le Color One Step Toning Hair Gloss, Auburn, 4 Ounce

Love this gloss... have been using in the Platinum color for my highlights to help gloss my hair and blend my highlights better when they start yellowing. Works really well and revives my hair. Tried the Auburn this time just for fun and loving it... more red than expected but a fun color for Fall and have gotten lots of compliments! Love that it is not permanent so I don't have to commit fully.

I LOVE this gloss for keeping my red hair fresh and glossy between hair appointments. It is easy to use and although it looks like the scene from Psycho in your shower for a hot minute, it all rinses clear and clean and leaves my hair super soft and very shiny.

I read it wrong and planned 5 minutes. Already put it on when I double checked instructions. Oops. Left it on between 5 and 10 minutes. I have natural dark blonde/light brown and grey white hair. I had been using color depositing conditioners and shampoo. My hair was an awkward pink when I started, lighter where it is grey. I wanted to try something that may last longer. You can see that where it is grey (the line of grey runs right down my bangs in the middle of my face) came more copper, the rest sort of cinnamon. Great when you consider I cut the time left on in half. With my short hair, I will easily get 4 to 5 (maybe more?) Uses out of it. Can't say how long it will last, but it's pretty and my hair is very soft now. I can't use regular dyes due to allergies but did the allergy test and no problems, so I used this. No allergies to color depositing hair stuff and this worked well.

Hands-down, the best thing that ever happened to her. This color if you like, copper is like no other trust me I’ve tried it off. I have literally tried every single one in the stores, and this one is by far the most incredible looking copper ever used. i’m so sad that they discontinued it in the stores. That’s why I bought it off Amazon. Also, a tip for everybody cash and if you’re using, it tend to put the colors starting from the middle of your hair to the bottom because if you douse the top of your hair, it can come off way too red, I like to do a balayage type of luck. I have very dark brown hair and it just gives me that Sunkist luck when I put it from the middle of my hair all the way downstairs is so beautiful. Thank you so much L’Oreal!

I have bought this product before in a different shade. This tube was jelly like and nothing like the other color. Came out clumps. I will say the color is absolutely beautiful though but I will need to blend more carefully throughout my ends for it to come out equally.

Saw a commercial for this and had to try it. I was previously using John Frieda for brown hair, despite wanting to kick up my reddish highlights... I could no longer find the red John Frieda. I use L’Oreal shampoo, conditioner, and styling products, so it was a no brainer. I bought the auburn color, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! Easy to use, no noticeable scent, and smooth conditioned hair when finished. I have virgin brunette hair with about 10-15% grey....which were quite lessened after the first use. I used gloves to apply, and wore a disposable shower cap for the 15 minutes, to keep my long hair off my skin - the product is highly pigmented. I’m very pleased, and I will continue to purchase!

My daughter dyes her hair a burgundy mahogany color and this gloss conditioner extends the life of her color so much. It leaves her hair shiny and with such a nice tone after using it-like it has been freshly dyed. It can be a little hard to squeeze out of the tube since it is so thick. It smells good too

What a waste of money! For this product to be made by L'Oreal is shocking. I have very dark brown hair and it didn't give me any color whatsoever. I feel like I wasted my time using it. I might as well use regular hair color. It smells great and it left my hair soft and smooth, that's about it. I didn't get any color or gloss. They need to head back into the L'Oreal lab and start over again. It doesn't do anything for women with dark hair. I followed the instructions, which were easy, but didn't get any of the promised results. Disappointing.

I was surprised at how long this stayed in my hair. I have dark brown virgin hair, didn't use any bleach, and left it on for around 40 minutes. 1.5 years later, my hair still had a red hue to it. Though the glossiness did fade after a month or two. Still, I’d highly recommend because it’s not as damaging, and the color payoff lasts a really long time!

Used this on my medium strawberry blonde hair in the hopes it would darken it a bit and make it a more rich and deep auburn colour. Didn’t expect the world of course but this literally hardly deposited any colour at all. It somehow made my hair more copper than anything and I even left it on 5 min longer than suggested to let the pigment sink in because it didn’t look like it was working in the shower but it still didn’t work. Tried it again in case I messed up but got the exact same results. If you’re looking for a gloss to darken your hair this is definitely not the one.
