Small form factor w/ big capacity & high speeds
I needed a relatively small flash drive that had a decent amount of space. This tiny, metal thumb drive is perfect! The metal housing is rugged and perfect for my applications. Transfer speeds are extremely fast, too. No complaints at all. Will likely buy more at some soon.

I am just avoiding verbatim flash technology now.
I have no complaints to the seller or the construction of the device. It's simple and solid. I got this to replace an older one. Sadly it died after only one use. I have never seen a flash drive fail so quickly. The issue must be on cheaper parts used to make the chips. They are not user serviceable being the chip and the contacts are all one solid part, unlike older flash drives. Fortunately there was no data stored. This was meant to be a small ultra durable device to pass between instruments that collect data.

Not for LINUX?
I missed the review which re-stated what the item's packaging apparently stated: you get only USB 2.0 speed if using Linux. I love the size, metal construction, and keyring hole. It works fine as a USB INSTALLER for Ubuntu Linux. But, I wanted to do a full Ubuntu installation TO a USB drive. While I DID succeed in doing so, Ubuntu ran so excruciatingly slowly as to be unusable. Doing the same install to a SanDisk Ultra Fit USB gave MUCH better results. You EXPECT sluggish performance when running Linux off a USB thumb drive, and the Verbatim was worse than sluggish. The Ultra Fit, OTOH, performed as well as an internal SSD. For general use, though, this little drive should satisfy most users.
