I used to use this back in highschool when I had very long hair. My hair is wavy/curly. I had forgotten about it because, as we all do, I moved on to so-called "higher end products". This stuff works just as well as it used to. Smells great. Crunchy at first if you air dry your curls but once your hair is dry just flip and scrunch a little and it softens right up. We haven't hit the hot, humid part of our southern summer yet so we'll see how it works then. 🤞For the price and amount you get I'm sold. So happy someone reminded me about this gel!

If you have curls and live in or visit a humid climate…then this is your stuff! Provides an excellent gel cast that locks in curls and keeps frizzing at bay. Also provides up to 3-4 days worth of good curls for me. I don’t completely “scrunch” out, only praying hands with a gloss over them and lightly scrunch. After that, hair is not crunchy. Old school stuff, but it works!!! Don’t know if “curly” girl approved, but don’t care, because it works.

I love it!!!!!!! The only gel that my curls actually LOVE. Plus it’s water based so it doesn’t damage my hair. My curls can go for 3 days… by the two I only have to freshen them with water spray 💗💗

This is a pretty good gel for holding things in place. I use it in my curly hair routine, although my hair does not like heavy products in it, so I only use a pea-sized amount. I do this when my hair is almost halfway done drying. It holds my hair well and makes it nice and shiny, but usually doesn't last long into the second day after washing. This gel would be great for curlier hair types or for hairstyles that need to stay still. It smells a little bit of alcohol, but dries quickly. I have noticed that when I would use too much of the gel, my hands would feel greasy after touching or stroking my hair. Be sure to use the right amount for your hair type! It was very cheap and a very good deal for the size of this bottle, it will last me a while. Overall, not bad!

I’ve been using this gel for over 30 years. The packaging changed, but the product hasn’t.

I don't know why they are discontinuing this version. It works for me so I've bought three before they're gone!

Gel is great. Good hold and not too sticky. The impressive thing I noticed, is how a little bit spreads nicely in your hands, so you don't need much. Depending on how you use it, a pea sized amount or a little more, spread on both sets of fingers, and apply. Good stuff 👍👍

This gel works, but doesn't last long on my hair. Maybe 1 day.
