Grand Piano Caster Cups - Set of 3 - Black

Product delivered as my new piano was coming through the door! Worked fine and had no issues.

These are great! We just moved to a new house and our baby grand now sits on a travertine tile floor. The piano mover told us that when vigorously played, the the piano could move/roll on this floor, and that it could even crack the tiles. Previously, the piano was on a rug, over a wood floor, so this wasn't an issue. The piano mover suggested i get some piano castors. These are great. The piano is now "immobilized" and the floor is protected. It did raise the piano about an inch, which bothers my 12-year-old son, but not my 15-year-old. So, I am going to look into a height adjustable bench. But I'll probably try buying a piano cushion first.

Definitely a lot sturdier than the cups they replaced. Better, thicker, reinforced seams on the back of these units. Plastic appears to be thicker than the cups that eventually cracked when I moved our baby grand a few feet from where it used to be. The old cups where some 20 years old. They would have lasted longer, had I not moved the piano. The settling into our carpet was keeping these cups from cracking after all these years. When I repositioned the old cups, they cracked as soon as we set the piano down and the weight made the cups "dig in" the carpet.These new ones will probably last a lot longer than 20 years, since they are better made. I just inherited a 5'6 yamaha grand. It is on the rug. First I tried basic rug protectors for furniture, but they were rubber and collapsed under the weight of the piano, leaving marks in the rug.So I ordered these. They are sturdy and have enough surface area to distribute the weight effectively. They won't ruin the rug. Fit the piano wheels like a glove. Highly recommend to anyone with a piano on rug, and on wood I expect they would keep the piano from rolling on it's wheels.

They are not pretty but work.

we are happy with the product, we just added extra padding just in case...we probably didnt have to, but didnt want to ruin our new floor. My daughter love the fact that the piano has been raised about an inch

fit well with yamaha baby grand piano. Noted, I had to put glider at the bottom. The cups alone won't glide on hardwoord floor.

These casters are just right for my grand piano. They are easy to put in place (once you have someone who is strong enough to lift the piano legs). I am very happy with the quality of these casters.
