Strong Arms Needed
After reading several reviews, I purchased two of these chairs, and was pleased to receive them so quickly. One reviewer advised that the chairs were heavyโฆ and wow was he correct! They were light at firstโฆ but quickly began to gain weight as we walked from the parking lot to the beach. While carrying two chairs, a two minute walk from the car will not be bad at all, as long as you are in decent shape. A five minute continuous walk would have been brutal. With that said, I do recommend the chairsโฆ They were the nicest on the beach by far. But buyers should purchase the straps and or the carry bag for a bit more of comfort while lugging these brutes to their relaxing destination. Ideally, these items should come included. So far, I will order the carry straps ASAP. The carry cases are at the house nowโฆ waiting for our arrival. I would have gave 5 stars if these items were included. Still a great buy.

Mostly happy
My chair arrived yesterday and I opened it immediately. I was surprised to find no instructions although few are needed. The chair is VERY comfortable and I look forward to sitting in my yard and reading with the sunshade reducing the glare on my kindle! I was somewhat disappointed to find two loose items in the package. At least they weren't missing. one was a screw and the other was a nut cover. It took awhile, but I found and placed the nut cover. I also found where the screw goes, it holds a foot onto the frame. I haven't reinstalled it yet because it jams up as soon as I get it started. It's not a machine screw, more like a wood/sheet metal screw so I can PROBABLY just power drive it in, but I want confirmation from the seller. I'm interested to see if they reply.

One month review
Iโve had this chair for a little over a month now and hereโs what I found. For the most part, I like the chair it is definitely wide or big boy and itโs a comfortable chair to sit in. It recline pretty far back, and I can easily get comfortable. The pillow is nice and firm. Some of the problems Iโve come across is when I first got it I noticed, when carrying it around the chair easily swung open. There is no locking mechanism to keep it close when transporting. There is no clear way of bearing it because itโs a bit big and bulky. Iโve noticed a rip at one of the seams picture included. Hopefully it doesnโt grow any further. Iโve also noticed that at the swivel point on the armrest they started the forming and what was once a close seam are now opening. Picture included. I donโt use the built-in canopy but Iโve noticed when Iโm reclining back. It doesnโt say in its bracket, not that it bothers me. Just thought Iโd mention it. I do like how do you included table on the side and handle my big top tablet, phone etc picture included. After the rip and deformation, I wouldโve like to return it, but I threw away the box and wasnโt sure how to return it anymore. Overall Iโm in the middle on this product. It is a nice comfortable chair but I think 30 days is to soon to star Having problem or what I paid. I hope this review. How do you make a more important decision if you decide to purchase this product.

Image is deceiving
The canopy will not function in that position. It slowly slides down over your face and your head sticks out in the opening. Your face is covered but the top of your head will fry in the sun. It only works when leaning back.

Excellent comfort
This is my first "zero gravity" chair. I got it a little extra wide so I didn't feel squeezed in to it. It seats me comfortably with a little extra room on each side, but not excessively. Have a 36-38inch waist for reference. It's easy to set up and break down. My only problem is that the left lock feels a little "soft" in that it does not click firmly in to place like the right lock, but both sides function so I am not going to make an issue out of it. I'm 6' and this is a little short for me to get my feet on without too much knee bending. I would say, fully stretched out, I overhang a solid 4 inches or so. It's not the end of the world, but if you're tall, your feet will be hanging off if you want to lie fully stretched out. The seat itself is very comfortable, the side tray holds drinks and small items with relative ease, and the sunshade is large and easy to set up.

NOT oversized.
I'm 6ft tall but only 170lbs. Lower back problems make the standard folding chair uncomfortable. My dad has had an early version of this zero-gravity design for 20 years and it's always been comfortable. I knew they've come out with "oversized" versions of this design and thought I could replace his with a new one. This model is as long as (if not shorter than) the original. The width is only about 1 inch wider than the original. Not worth the price and doesn't match the description.

Really worth the extra bucks.
I was fairly happy with the zero gravity recliners with canopy I had purchase about 18 months ago ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07934K9QV ) but one recently gave way when I sat on it. (We did have the hottest year in record this year and the chairs were in full sun all 18 months.) I almost just ordered the same ones, but I thought I'd check around. I found these and am so glad that I got them instead. For just 40 dollars more, these have twice the weight rating and are nicely padded. The material is also more tightly woven and doesn't have the "netting" look although it's still loose enough to breath a bit. The cords used to attach the seat/back are hidden under the material so they'll get less direct sun than the earlier chair where they were exposed on the sides of the material. What I didn't even notice when I ordered them is that the seats are about 6" higher off the ground than the old ones. I had no idea how much a few inches would make getting in and out of these so much easier. I suppose that's why all the normal chairs in my house are roughly the same height as this new recliner instead of the old one. To be fair, the height of the old one was about the same height as a typical folding patio lounge chair when opened. I now know that the lower height is NOT the best height for a zero gravity recliner chair with a canopy!
