We have 3 or 4 of these excellent blankets at home and have also bought several of these as presents, which have been very well received by the recipients.They are available in a number of sizes, and are perfect in many settings to efficiently provide localised warmth and comfort during the cold months. We use them to keep warm when watching TV, working on the computer at home or just when relaxing or reading. It is a well made product that is very warm and comfortable even without the heat turned on.The blanket and controller are sturdy and very well designed and made, making easy selection of heat levels and time to be on. The blanket automatically switches off when the selected number of hours are up.The blanket is also very useful to have as a bed cover to warm the bed and keep you warm. A good selection of colours is available. The blanket is very soft, durable and comfortable. Highly recommended.

As the cold nights draw in and the fuel bills skyrocket I thought it was time to invest in a quality heated blanket. I didn’t really know anything about electric blankets as the last time I had one was 40 years ago, when they were about safe as laying on a bed of nails.Thankfully times have changed and rigorous regulations mean electric blankets these days are a far more safer option. I splurged out on the Mia & Coco blanket (love the name - even sounds cosy ), which isn’t an under sheet blanket but an over one. This means you can wrap it around you whilst cocooned in a completely warm erm cocoon. It’s just a very normal soft blanket unlike the stiff electric blankets of yester year.The outside is extremely satisfying to the touch. Sometimes you can touch a really soft material and it has very unpleasant feeling that makes your fingernails tingle. Not the case here - It’s so soft it feels like you’re touching a cloud.. The inside it’s kind of like a fleecy material which is equally as soft. The cord which is attached to a standard UK plug is thankfully long enough so you can watch tv on the sofa without it tugging away at you with a short cord. You can also pull out the cord to make it into a normal blanket.There’s 2 controls, one for the heat , and one for the timer (useful if you don’t want to wake up at 4 in the morning boiling hot). The heating setting goes up to 9 - which in my opinion is far too hot ( a good thing !). I usually have it around 4 or 5, which is perfect.The great thing about this is , you can lay it on top of your bed (I have a really thick quilt), and it warms up the entire bed including the mattress (This blanket comfortable covers about 2/3 of a double bed). So no need for an under sheet electric blanket, or a hot water bottle.I washed the blanket (recommends 30 degrees on a gentle wash ), but I put it on a a 40 degrees aggressive sports wash with a 1200 spin, and it still works fine. I’d still stick with the gentler wash though for longevity!I ended up buying 2 as I was so impressed. I’ve got it on now while typing this review, with the central heating off, and I’m so cosy and warm, and saving money.Electric blankets have certainly moved on!

Really good heated blanket and does exactly what it’s supposed to. I’ve actually bought it twice already which says enough on its own. It heats up nicely, gets properly warm, and is really comfortable because of the soft flannel and sherpa material.The size is great as well and easily covers two people comfortably. I like that there are different heat settings so you can adjust it depending on how cold it is, and the timer feature is useful at night.Overall it feels good quality, works reliably, and makes winter so much more comfortable. Very happy with it.

Really nice. I have two. Bought second one after being pleased with the first. Have machine washed twice and still work as normal.Maybe there are cooler spots around the blanket, maybe the edges (I read this in another review) but definitely give good warmth.I use on setting 4, they go up to 10. Every time I switch on and watch a film I fall asleep. Super cosy.

I never usually leave reviews on products from Amazon but I felt like I had to. I was looking for a heated blanket after my last one broke, but I wanted a bigger one that wasn’t grey (as I hate the dull/crushed velvet Essex interior vibe lol) but it was the only colour I could find everywhere else I looked - until now. This blanket is Sherpa on one side and a cute tea brown colour on the other - and it is amazing. It is so soft, so comfortable, so big/long, and gets so warm!! I love that there’s so many heating/timer options, because my last blanket could only stay warm for 3 hours, but this one can stay hot for up to 9 hours. I’ve had no issues with it so far:) my partner loves it too and it fits both of us no problem. Would definitely recommend, whether it’s for yourself or as a present for someone else:)

Bought two of these, both working perfectly, look great. Seem to be decent quality so far.I’ve been able to turn the heating off in the bedroom, this set to low keeps me toasty warm all night. Often when your cold the body concentrates the heat in its core meaning fingers and toes can get cold. With this because my core is lovely and warm my fingers and toes all feel normal as if the rooom were hot, it’s between 12C and 15C in here but it feels like 21C+. I’d bern running a 1kw fire, sometimes up to 2kw, that’s reduced to about 60w, that’s a huge saving, I hope I can keep that up, my bill might not make me cry!Some people have said some daft things on here, let’s see if I can answer a few points. Can you feel the wires….of course you can but they’re thinner than straws and very flexible, you’re never going to vanish them away. Do you get hot spots. To a degree (ha!) yes you do, y that’s not bad, it’s just the way it works, if your absorbing the heat that bit is going to be cooler to the touch than a spot that didn’t touch you. It’s not dangerous, it’s just physics! You’re not being robbed of warmth by a bad bit, you absorbed the heat there, that means it’s working fine. (Obviously if it’s glowing red or ridiculously hot, not just toasty warm that might be a fault)Oh and on the point of faults. Amazon are responsible for all sales, if you do get a faulty one, god forbid, it is them that must refund you, don’t deal with the manufacturer or “seller” deal with Amazon, you paid them the money. This has to do with money laundering laws too. So don’t get fobbed off.I’d recommend this, if it saves the kind of money it can do over the winter I don’t care if it only lasts a year. It might last 2 or 3. Personally I’m not going to keep it past that, the older they get the less reliable they are, that’s just a general fact about these devices. It will have saved many times it’s cost price so I can’t complain.I almost forgot, it’s super soft a wool effect underneath and a velvet effect on top.One last thing, don’t run it on high, you don’t need it. It raises your temperature gently, you can start off on high to get warm quickly but turn it down. I run mine on 3. Not only does that save energy, it stops you overheating, it’s not healthy to be that hot, just mind your setting and reduce it as you warm up.

This blanket is amazing, huge & snuggy. Its light, heats up quickly & turns itself off after awhile, which is great to stop any overheating worries (as in my last blanket!)Its a magic all over cover for one or two folk if sharing is necessary. Love it & certainly recommend to all, good value too.

Really love this blanket. Easy to control heat and gets very hot at highest temperature. Lovely and cosy for your bed or when watching tv etc.The only negative and it might just be a personal preference is that the blanket itself is a bit on the thin side and not amazing quality. I guess maybe it’s designed that way as if it was heavier plus the heat, it might be too much! might not bother someone else as it’s primarily for the heat function and not a throw blanket.

I ordered for a friend in Spain, my account is in Ireland, and I had read a review that it came with a two pin European plug, so I ordered it for my Spanish friend, so I could send it on to Spain. Unfortunately it came with an Irish/UK Plug. But regardless to that I sent it anyway with an adapter plug, and my friend said it works fine and He loves it. Said really cosy and hot on the cold winter nights in Spain. Would Recommend

Légère. De la taille d’un plaid. Commande facile pour ma mère âgée avec un bouton pour la température et un bouton pour la durée. C’est la première couverture chauffante que j’achète mais le temps de chauffe me semble très correct. On sent que cela chauffe quelques minutes après le branchement.

Der Stoff ist sehr angenehm und kuschelig, die Heizung ist wunderbar. Die höchste Stufe war mir meistens zu heiß, Stufe 4 von 10 für mich perfekt. Ich habe viele gemütliche Stunden mit dieser Decke verbracht. Leider ist das Kabel nach einigen Monaten der Benutzung kaputt gegangen, sowas kann passieren, aber der Kundenservice ist super! Schnelle, freundliche Antworten und eine Rückerstattung ohne Diskussion. Dafür gebe ich guten Gewissens 5 Sterne. Ich werde weiterhin bedenkenlos bei diesem Shop kaufen! Vielen Dank!
