Recently had a low battery alert in an ADT wireless sensor, 1.5 year old original battery which seemed rather quick to fail but whatever... installed a new Amazon Basics CR123A that was about 1 year old (to me, shelf age), and this one also reported a low battery alert! Dug in my battery box and found some 3 year old Duracell CR123A's and tried one of these. Worked perfectly and no more low battery alert. You get what you pay for, Duracell are a more expensive battery but they are quality. This is the only battery that I will use in the alarm system moving forward.

Date ON Battery Is Shelf Life
I use these batteries in AED units and I just wanted to inform other users that the dates on the batteries do not indicate an expiration date as in how long they will last in a device. These dates are shelf life dates which mean the date indicates how long they can be stored before being placed in a unit and still maintain a decent level of power. Hate to break it to people but these batteries do not last 10 years in every device. That is a ridiculous assumption. Otherwise these batteries are top notch. I have rarely had any issue with them and they seem to last a very long time.

Long lasting batteries
