It works great. But it’s twice the price of the older version still on sale everywhere (the previous version was not discontinued, they just created this new one to get double price and double profit. It’s not that it’s expensive for a compact, but it’s expensive for the cheap compacts (meaning, that are not high end brands like Lancome, YSL, CD, etc.). Just like everything else we buy nowadays, they made a new color (red details) plastic box of the exact same format and size as the previous just to charge you twice as much. Good light coverage for a drugstore or grocery shopping quick run when you don’t want to put full makeup on. It’s skin compatible if you manage to choose the right color for yourself, but it’s the same quantity as the previous cheaper product. Not too lightweight but definitely not “heavy weight” as a CC cream is: CC’s are heavier for total coverage so it can cover blemishes in case you have a monthly hormone breakout as some of us do, so, no, this item here is way far from the results of a CC cream. After you get home if you want clean pores you’ll have to use the adequate makeup remover or astringent depending your type of skin or else there will be residue. If I’m to make a recommendation, just buy the previous product from L’Oreal or even the Revlon one because they’re still in production and for sale with the exact same Quantity inside the container. I keep this type of product in all vehicles and purses so I don’t need to worry about not having a very light facial compact coverage to give it a better 5 second application color when I’m in a rush. But if I’m home I go for the “real deal” (Lancome, Mac, etc.). However, all the compacts I mentioned above don’t leave anything to desire and basically cover pretty much all of one’s needs covered by the same type of compact product by Lancome, CD, YSL, etc. options. Residue. In short: if your skin CAN take a dry compact because skin is not too dry or wrinkled by sun or age, you can even wear it on top of the CC cream so as to cover oiliness (in case your skin is oily prone). Caution for dry skin people: if your skin is dry or wrinkled by sun or age, you might not want to add more dryness (which most compacts do - but then, again, that’s what I seek in compact powders: to cover the oiliness). I am very pleased with this L'Oreal Infallible Powder Foundation. I purchased the True Beige and it is a perfect match to my light, cool-tone natural skin color. I am very happy with its full coverage and smooth matte finish. I find that it feels good on my skin and holds up well throughout the day. I normally use only a brush to apply powder foundation but with this Infallible Powder Foundation, I have also been using the spongy applicator that comes with it and find it easier in some spots and less messy. I was previously using a much more expensive powder foundation (that got discontinued) but in all honesty, I am very pleasantly surprised to find that I am just as happy with this Infallible Powder Foundation and I have added it to my Subscribe & Save items.

If you put this on using the included sponge it is VERY heavy with full coverage, and if it's not an exact color match, it definitely shows. It is a lot more natural looking and more of a medium coverage if you use a brush. Brush application also makes it a lot more forgiving if you don't have the exact right shade. It's okay on mature skin (I'm in my 40s), but not great... I have to use a generous layer of moisturizer and primer for it to sit right. On the plus side, it does last all day with very minimal transfer.

It’s not too often I switch from Tarte and Mac to something cheaper- but I love this power foundation! Covers nicely and lasts all day. Doesn’t cause blemishes for me. What more can you ask for?

Sadly this powder isn’t as good as the liquid version of this foundation. I LOVE the liquid, but this does not compare. Pros: - lightweight - medium coverage - quick/easy to use - finely milled/silky powder -doesn’t break me out - works great as a setting powder for liquid foundation -doesn’t oxidize after oils come through Cons: - not water proof/transfer proof like the liquid. This foundation slips and slides ALL over the place as soon as oils come through - I get oilier quicker with this foundation that any other powder foundation I’ve tried (and oilier faster than the liquid version) - breaks apart/emphasizes pores and creases in smile lines. Even after only 3 hrs of wear. Bottom line: I was so excited to try this product since I love the liquid version of this foundation, but this product was so disappointing... It might be amazing for someone with normal to dry skin. Its not so horrible I won’t use it, but I definitely won’t repurchase this.

I love trying out new makeup products and I kept seeing this L'Oreal Paris Infallible Powder Foundation on TikTok. The reviews were raving and the results looked impressive so I decided to give it a try and this is my honest review. So my skin type is combination, super oily usually but can easily get dry/flakey with retinol use, sensitive, uneven tone, large pores, acne prone and acne scarring. I usually use a very light powder over my liquid foundation because powders tend to collect in my scars/pores so I was a bit nervous about this product. The price is fair, the color matched the pictures and my skin (I got true beige), the compact is good quality but I ended up swapping out the applicator for a different one (I like more of a cushioned dry flat puff and the one that comes with it is kind of like a Beauty Blender material). This applies VERY thick and a little goes a long way. Just a little bit of it is able to blur my imperfections and redness easily. The end result is similar to using a full coverage liquid foundation which is so impressive. I will say, with my skin dryness I can't really use this alone or it will really accentuate my flakiness. And with my oily skin it does cake in creases unless I use my setting spray. There is a bit of finesse to finding the perfect way to apply it and it changes for me every day depending on my current skin state. But this is a super quick and easy way to get full coverage on days where I'm in a rush. I usually apply my moisturizer, then primer, then liquid foundation, then I VERY lightly apply this on top. Or if I'm super lazy I just skip the liquid foundation and put this on a little heavier (as long as my skin isn't dry/flaking that day). If you are looking for a full coverage powder, I would HIGHLY recommend this one. I am impressed by the pigment and power of this little compact. I have purchased it multiple times now. This foundation is great! I switched from MAC Studio Fix (they completely butchered the new formula). I was looking for something comparable to the old beloved formula that they had done so well on for 20+ years! This one works just as well for half the price! Coverage is buildable, it smoothly fills in all of the imperfections like pores and fine lines. It is not dry feeling, but silkier. I have oily skin, and this seems to work all day. I apply before work very early in the morning, hit the gym after work, and it's still just as good as when I applied. If I get a bit oily (this happens with any foundation) I just take a tissue and blot and it looks fresh as new! Highly recommend this. I hope they don't screw it up and change the formula like so many other companies lately. It would be nice if they restocked my shade though. Last 2 purchases were not from here. I posted a question asking the seller why they are always out of stock and someone responded stupidly (also nothing to do with the question) why am I ordering this, that is drying, etc....um lady, yeah, I have very oily skin, and it WORKS for me. I was asking why the seller/Amazon never has it in stock. Read questions BEFORE you respond please. Ugh

This is a product that should only be used by white skin. Any other skin color, even light skin, cannot be used
