OEMTOOLS 87009 No-Spill Coolant Funnel Kit, 15 Pc Fluid & Oil Funnel Set

It is a funnel, a big funnel and works as intended!!!! The kit have multiple adaptors for radiators and radiator caps so you can refill the radiator after flushing the coolant and allow the trapped air to move out of the system, it worked perfect on my Jeep JK 2010 allowing me to refill the radiator after doing flush of the 5 year coolant in minutes. The size of the funnel helps with spills (a word of caution, pour the engine coolant slowly as it will splash back if you fill the funnel too fast as air comes out of the radiator) and the extension adapters are useful to locate the funnel on a clear spot if is needed (I did not use them, so I'm not sure how tight the fittings are or if they are strong enoug to hold the funnel straight).

This is one of those tools that you buy because you need to use it once, forget about it for years, and then appreciate yourself for buying it when you need to use it again. As a YouTube certified DIY mechanic, I had a very pleasant experience using this coolant funnel. My first time ever draining and refilling coolant was such an easy and seamless process thanks to this funnel. The the correct size adapter for my use case was included, and it fit so tightly that I was initially worried that none of the adapters may have been the right size. This is a very good thing, it ensured that the radiator was under normal operating pressure while bleeding air from the system. And I was able to do this without a single drop of coolant spilled or wasted. I can confidently recommend this funnel to anyone that needs to do any job related to draining coolant, regardless of whether they are a mechanic or a DIYer.

Same exact funnel set that cost twice as much at local autoparts stores. I was able to "burp" the cooling system on my Jeep TJ 4.0L after flushing and new radiator. Eliminates 95% of the mess you'd have without thus. Worth every penny, and shipping was very fast too. I ordered on Friday afternoon, shipped early Monday, was here following wednesday.

According to the description, this kit was supposed to fit a 2005 Nissan Xterra. Only one of the caps was really close to fitting the radiator and the plastic adapter that fits inside of it fit, but the cap wouldn't quite go on and the rubber gasket that came on the yellow adapter was too thick. First, I had to bend both tabs on the cap outward slightly with pliers so that it would fit onto the radiator. Next, I fitted it with a smaller O-ring that I had in my O-ring assortment kit. After these mods, it worked perfectly.. The first pic shows the O-ring I installed and the original gasket next to it. The second pic shows the differences in the thickness. If you try and force the cap on with the gasket that came with it, I'm pretty sure you will cause damage to the radiator spout. Hope this helps!

This is one of those tools that it's really great when you need it but it's gonna sit a while when you don't. It's got a nice capacity and a good amount of adapters and keeps you from getting coolant everywhere when you're refilling a system.

This funnel works and has a lot of adapters for various radiators. For my application (Lexus GX 460) I got my needle nose pliers and put a very slight bend on one of the tabs for a perfect fit. I wrapped a shop rag underneath and around the radiator's filler neck and performed the refill procedure. The yellow stick thing is a plug that you won't use until the radiator won't take any more coolant so when the thermostat opens it can feed from the fluid in the fill funnel and won't burp out all over the place. Simply insert the stop plug into the funnel and remove the funnel from the fill neck. It's super easy and you'll like it. No more mess. 👍 I highly recommend it.

2 STAR I only put 5 so more people can see this. I had to bleed the coolant line for a 2017 wrangler and the components that came with this are crap. Comes with 3 caps and I needed the A cap for the radiator. The A cap does not fit with ANY of the plugs. I had to take my pliers and bend the opening to make it wider so it would fit the plugs. The other 2 caps fit the plugs fine. Once I picked the right plug then it worked fine. I messed this up at first and leaked coolant everywhere. Make sure you pick a plug that jams the rubber O-ring inside the radiator tube and not just on top of it.

Habe das Trichterset bisher zwei Mal angewendet. Bei einem BMW 316i E46 Bj. 2004 und bei einem Honda Civic VIII Bj. 2007. Ich habe bei beiden Fahrzeugen den Kühlerfrostschutz gewechselt und den Trichter zum Befüllen und Entlüften verwendet. Ich bin bisher sehr zufrieden mit dem Trichterset und kann es jedem der an Fahrzeugen arbeitet empfehlen. Man muss nur sehr vorsichtig sein, wenn man überschüssiges Kühlmittel wieder zurück in einen Behälter geben möchte. Einerseits sollte man den langen Stöpsel/Stift nicht fest einstöpseln. Nur ganz leicht einsetzen. Sonst wird es schwierig beim wieder Herausziehen und es kann dabei einiges an Kühlmittel danebengehen. Andererseits muss man gut aufpassen, dass man sich nicht verbrüht, weil das Kühlwasser beim Entlüften sehr heiss wird. Beim Umfüllen des überschüssigen Kühlmittels, kann es nach dem Herausziehen des Stöpsels und durch unachtsames Vorgehen zu Spritzern kommen. Während dem Befüllen und Entlüften sollte man auch aufpassen das kein Schmutz oder Sonstiges in den Trichter gelangt. Hierzu kann man den mitgelieferten Deckel ob leicht ansetzen oder vielleicht ein Tuch darüberlegen. Trotzdem bin ich sehr zufrieden und würde es wieder kaufen.
