ORGRAN Gluten Substitute, 7 OZ

I found this product by accident at a health food store in Cocoa Beach Florida. I have not been able to find it since. Thank you Amazon! It is a MUST HAVE for anyone who bakes gluten free. The texture of all of the baked goods made with the addition of gf gluten are simply amazing!!!!!!!

I have made some of the best gluten free baked goods with this product. It takes a little math to figure out how to adjust your recipes to use it, but it works very well. The only negative was shipping. It comes in a cardboard box which they shipped in a bag and it got smashed in the mail. I complained and they sent me another shipment, but also sent it in a plastic bag and the second shipment also got smashed. I was still able to use the product though, as its inner plastic bag remained intact. I liked using this product more than using xantham gum to make gluten free baked goods stick together.

This stuff is not what it says. Does not work any better and is quite pricey.

This stuff works like gluten and does what I bought it for. I knocked off one star because it's ridiculously expensive. I got about 3 recipes out of this box. Crazy. It can't possibly cost that much to make, it's a matter of supply and demand.

First, I want to say that I read the "great reviews" and was very excited to try this product. After I ordered the product on March 4th, they informed me that it wouldn't arrive until between March 31- April 12th. So, I cancelled the product immediately and ordered it through another source. When it arrived, I used it in there recipe for GF bread. When opening the box, my first thought was, this smells toxic! Absolutely awful! I should have stopped there and not wasted my other ingredients, but curiosity got the better of me, and I continued with the recipe. After the bread finished baking and cooling I tasted it :( words can not describe the flavor and texture. This is one of those products that we'll hear about, (in a recall), that causes cancer or something else. I wouldn't recommend this to any living thing on this earth! Now to the good part...the company never cancelled my order, so the product arrive at my front door, with no return label available for return. If I want my money back, I will need to pay for international shipping to return it! Not good business.

This stuff is so much better than I expected. My bread looks like regular bread. It tastes like it should. It lasts longer than my other gluten gree breads also. I have used it in several of my different bread recipes. I love it

I used it in a zucchini burger recipe to substitute for vital wheat gluten. I wasn't very pleased with it because it appeared as being stringy in the burgers. I plan on trying it again in something else to see if I don't get better results.
