Pure Tarantinoesque Pleasure!
What a treat! If the movie leads you to order this CD, it will come as a delightful surprise to hear all the musical bits that you hadn't realized were part of this masterwork. You remember the hits, and then you're rewarded with all the great stuff that surrounded them! If you loved the movie, you will keep this disc permanently on tap in - or at least near -your CD player. Oh, and by the way, by "Tarantinoesque", I'm sure you are aware that Quentin Tarantino not only scripted this film, but had a major role in the selection of the music! You knew that, right?

25th Anniversary True Romance soundtrack- Vinyl- Real Gone Music-
In lieu of the 25th anniversary of the Scott/Tarantino cult classic True Romance, several remastered soundtracks by several companies have recently been released. The good folks at Enjoy the Ride Records did a release that featured only the Hans Zimmer music from the movie.Real Gone Music released an LP with only selected pop tracks featured, but did include a few Zimmer tracks as well. Now we get yet another release on vinyl, this time featuring a healthy mix of both pop songs and Hans Zimmer cues.I think all releases have been really well done (and feature some amazing, newly commissioned artwork and color variants) but for the casual fan (who most likely just wants the essential pop jams and main Zimmer cues) this latest release will be the one you want.Though it features most of the songs from the movie, there are a few that are absent here, including the Aerosmith song when Clarence & Alabama first drive in to Los Angeles. All tracks sound amazing, being newly remastered for vinyl. No major hisses or flaws of any kind. This version available on Amazon is the "Clear & White Splatter" variant which very much resembles a certain "cola" featured prominently in the film. It's an amazing looking LP, and very, very fitting for a color variant based on this movie. Those people at Real Gone Music are very clever. And very awesome. They consistently put out amazing sounding releases that are pleasing to both the eye and the ear.If you're a fan of True Romance, this release is going to make you happy. It looks and sounds beautiful.I also got one for my lady friend and she freaked out.She loves it so much.High recommend!

and let me tell you i wasn't happy about it
My cat decided to purchase this album, and let me tell you i wasn't happy about it. The cat; however, totally loves the songs. Pay attention people. Your felines are plotting world domination. They have learned how to use the internet.

Check packaging
Soundtrack was good but replays songs, and had some songs that I don't remember from the movie. The case came to me very damaged, but CD plays fine.....I guess. Thought I bought it new, still plastic wrapped but obviously been around.

Awesome Soundtrack
Amazing soundtrack and super cool clear splattered vinyl! Also, despite what the other reviews say it DOES include the song in the Christopher Walken and Dennis Hopper scene. Definitely a must have for Tarantino fans.
