Magician Kid's Plush Costume Hat with Rabbit - Soft Velvet Hat with Adjustable Fit

I stumbled upon this hat on Amazon while looking for magic kits for my husband and almost 5 year old daughter. What a good purchase!!! Babygirl loves her magic hat! It's a tall hat, sure, but you can't pull stuffed animals out of a tiny hat! The trick is really simple and actually doesn't look too fake when being performed. The bunny it comes with is adorable, but our daughter promptly traded the rabbit for her small stuffed Elmo and any of her 'babies' that fit in the secret compartment. This is one of those awesome toys that is virtually unbreakable too. The hat is a soft, velvety fabric and the bunny is soft and plush as well and is able to stick to the brim of the hat with the attached velcro for a bit of sass when performing other tricks. Both seem quite well made. It's about at the max I would pay around $20, but if your child likes magic, it's a winner!

My seven year old daughter loves this magician hat! I bought it for her along with a magic kit, but this was her favorite part of the gift. The bunny is cute and the hat trick is easy to perform. The hidden panel works great. The hat is oversized - really big and floppy - so it looks more like a Mad Hatter top hat than the traditional magician's top hat. At first, this turned my daughter off, until I showed her how the bunny disappears inside. After that, it didn't matter to her any longer that it didn't look traditional. She had a ton of fun with it, and my younger niece (who is 4) loves playing with it too.

my 3 year old is obsessed with Daniel Tiger and there is an episode where they have a character do magic and pull something out of his hat. She has a ton of fun with this hat. The adjustable feature really works and it fits her head well with the straps pulled in. The hidden compartment is awesome. She can entertain herself and us for awhile putting things in the hat and pulling them out.

I ordered this hat for my 3 1/2 yr old son for their school Halloween party/parade. I was so glad I went with this costume as he were the only one wearing it! It was something convenient for him to put on and take off by himself while in class. The other great thing is that a few days later, I was able to wear it as well for my own Halloween gathering! This hat is well built and I can see it lasting for years and years to come. It's great that there's an elastic inside that makes it adjustable and the bunny is indeed a cute addition and gives it more character! It may be pricier than other magician hats out there but in my opinion, it was worth the extra money given the quality of this product.

Gave this present to a little girl around the age of five or six. She was delighted! The guilty pleasures of making a child believe in magic is great. I thought the one size would be a problem even if it has a "strap", she is a very young girl, after all. Quite the contrary, it was big, but it only made her look that much more adorable with it. The one con that I see and I won’t penalize it by removing a star, because it has easy workarounds, is the lack of Velcro, button, zipper, pin, or anything to keep the hidden compartment closed. The bunny could accidentally fall out if you put the hat upright . All-in-all it was a good purchase. Easily storable by putting something flat on top of it to fold down.

I purchased this kid’s magician hat with rabbit back in 2015. It’s a fun concept and looks great at first. The soft velvet material gives it a classic magician look, and the included plush rabbit is a nice touch for costumes or small performances. The size adjuster inside is also helpful for getting a better fit. However, durability was an issue. After just a few uses, the internal metal support started to weaken and eventually began to break. I also noticed rust forming on the metal parts, which affected the appearance and structure of the hat. It works well for short-term or light costume use, but it didn’t hold up over time. Pros: • Classic magician look • Soft velvet material • Cute plush rabbit included • Adjustable fit Cons: • Metal support started breaking after a few uses • Rust developed on metal parts • Not very durable Conclusion: This hat is a fun costume accessory and looks good initially, but the internal metal structure and rust issues limit its longevity. It’s fine for occasional use, but not built for repeated performances or long-term durability.

My nephew (7) loved it and so did my daughter (4). They had fun hiding other objects in it too. He wanted a magic set for his birthday and loves this hat. It is great for imaginative play and is of great quality. The hat and bunny have lasted and held up well even after 2 years. The play value of this item is worth it and I think this would make a great gift for dress up and to go along with magician sets.

This Magician's Kids Costume DOES NOT come with the Cape that is pictured. A Hat and a Rabbit DO NOT make a COSTUME. The inclusion of a Cape is necessary to make the outfit a COSTUME. Also the band on the outside of the hat is not attached.
